Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all.

Whats the best way, or any way :D to attach two fence posts?

(One fence post that was shallow in the ground has come loose so I'm going to sink another post in the earth and attach the two). Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks.

What I have done in similar situations is completely different :D

I had this a lot one place I worked and had lots of fence posts like yours. What I did was to get a 4 ft long piece of angle iron and hammer it in flush with one corner then drill it to bolt it to the post. The other way I've done this is the sink a concrete repair post and bolt that to the damaged post.

    Just like this ....

Wake me up when it's all over.

  • Thanks for that, a great video. The, bolts he's using, what type are they? Can you just bang in any standard bolt and it takes purchase in the wooden post?

Ah, got it on the vid. 12mm x 150 mm coach screw.
