I'm a fan of Leno but his causal nature has caused us an awful lot of issues this year.

Emery wanted us to play out from the back too but had the sense to give it over when it was apparent we were sh*te at it.

I'm sick of the manager stubbornly imposing his philosophy on a team filled with players incapable of delivering it.

What are you on about? My post has nothing to do with the goal. Every time Pepe gets into form Arteta takes him out of the team, it makes absolutely no sense.

I would imagine he's being told not to. I doubt any keeper really wants to pass it out if they could get away with always just booting it long, there's not much to gain from it for them but a lot to lose.

Pointing out that he's not doing much of a job to address the casual mistakes we make in every other game isn't bashing, it's just common sense. You jumping to his defence over harmless comments is just as predictable

I'd agree, but we rarely look comfortable playing it out from the back and we have conceded so many daft goals from it. Why of why do they persist with it, drives me mad

It’s up to the manager to manage a team.
Not stopping this stupid defending is neglect of his duty.
These silly mistakes are happening in every game by crazy defending.
He needs to sort it out. That’s his job.

Olympiakos are playing a flat back 6 when not in possession and we've nothing on the pitch to take it apart. I don't think Pepe is the answer as there's no space to run into. Maybe Laca and ESR?

They seem to go into this casual mode so, so often. It's infuriating. Luiz got away with it in the first half too.

1000% Leno is drilled to play as many central passes as he can, building up centrally from the back. He’s not to blame.

So Leno didn’t pass it at all.
Arteta’s version is not working too well.

I'm sorry but no, there is no way Leno is told to do those particular passes. Not a ****ing hope. He is told to play out..not pass it to a guy pinned by two lads. He is picking the wrong passes..his fault and only his fault.
