Need to put these lads away now as they're growing in confidence. A goal on the break now would take the wind out of their sails. Greek champions they are, certainly no mugs.

    No mugs?
    They mugged us last year.😂

Great tigerish play from Hector there, nobody supporting him though.

One shot the Greeks have had but it was a chance and a half.

In that funny situation where a goal for us almost doesn't make much difference, they need to score 3 times anyway. They've shown a complete lack of ambition so far. We've looked mostly solid.

They've had a good bit of the ball but are just passing it around. You'd think they were the ones in control of the tie and trying to kill it off. Let them have the ball and we'll hit them on the break.

Bit of a dodgy pass out there from Leno considering.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Our passing hasn’t been great and we’re very shaky with the final ball when we get near their goal.

Watching Ceballos play football is a very difficult task (bar the odd moment of something good).

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,704 ✭✭✭emmetlego

Our forwards have been poor enough so far, that plus Ceballos is quite sloppy, and let’s face it, despite his hard work, Mo Elneny is just not up to scratch. Should see this out anyway.

You can add David Luiz to the embarrassing leadership list . Falls down in the face of danger looking for a free

Ceballos is a donkey has no place in that team

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,712 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

    Ceballos wrecks my head.

    That's nonsense

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

All down to Cellebos losing possession.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,103 ✭✭✭DenMan

    Get Odegaard on now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,912 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Ceballos has been poor enough all season, we'd better not sign him permanently

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Changes needed, changes coming. Partey and Odegaard coming in,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    How is Aubamayang staying on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

That starting midfield had bad news written all over it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,700 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

    Please don't Arsenal this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,912 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

When's the last time Martinelli actually played?

    Awful sloppy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 273 ✭✭Greenlights16

Don’t you just love the arsenal way :D this has 2-0 written all over it, with them pushing hard for a 3rd, just before we rescue it with a goal in the last 5 mins against the run of play.

Through by the skin of our teeth. The Fitbit heart rate will be good watching for the next half hour!!

Aubas not at the races at all

Must have been dropped for 2 games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,309 ✭✭✭Azatadine

Jakers, we make heavy weather of everything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,712 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

Someone joked to me earlier that they had arranged for Arsenal to win this game.

I responded that in an actually fixed game, where both teams agreed Arsenal would win, I would give us an 80% chance of winning.

Being publicly called out and dropped for the NLD was stupid call and he’s clearly pissed. A pair of them in it but he’ll feel what happens in the club should stay in the club

Now we’re starting to put a few passes together.

I don't think It's that at all. Auba has been piss poor all year. This is just a continuation of it.

Jesus Partey has been shocking since he came on.
ESR and Auba have been terrible all game

Yeah, bad mistake by Arteta there for sure. Paying for it now and will for a while.

Not a pair of them in it, Auba was in the wrong and got his hand slapped(and rightly so). Also let's be honest he's been miles off all season.

Really bad from Ødegaard there.

No surprise there, you must have Arteta anything negative on your alerts

Did Arteta drop him at the start of the season for being late? Because we've been "paying" for it since then.

All on him in my book. He could have avoided all that trouble by turning up on time for one of the biggest games of the season and he the captain.

Anyway, Arsenal need a goal here. Otherwise it'll be a siege for the final few minutes.

Much better all of a sudden

Do you think he has been the only player late this or last season? No others got called out. Arteta bemoaned a leak earlier in the season, he felt what goes on inside should stay inside. He broke that role the weekend himself

Auba has 9 league goals this season. He's been poor all season. His performance tonight is typical of what's been going on since he signed the contract. There's been plenty of times he hasn't started due to form, and tonight isn't anything different.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

Auba fairly terrible tonight doesn’t look arsed at all

Ah cmon that chance was him all over.

He'll bang in the next one. No sweat.

  • Registered Users Posts: 273 ✭✭Greenlights16

Aubameyang I’m sorry man but that unforgivable. How much time to think about that. Signs of a very off player

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭wonga77

Brutal again by Auba. Wtf is with him tonight???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,147 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Another atrocious finish from Auba. He's shocking.

And Arteta has been faultless. When you balance your opinions I’ll engage

He didn't leak anything, there were pictures all over twitter of Auba driving through London late in his ferrari. Arteta 100% right on what he done and has already been said it's not the first time Auba has been late or broke match day protocol.

I had no faith that he was going to score, which says a lot about how bad he's become lately.

Can you point out where I said that?
