    No change there then....

Matteo Guendouzi has no future at Hertha Berlin and will be sent back to Arsenal once his loan move finishes this summer, with the German club fuming over his 'stubbornness' and 'failure to take advice', according to reports in Germany.

Hd needs to cop onto himself. Throwing away his talent.

Chambers and Mari brought into the back line

Nice to see Auba and Laca back up front together! Six changes from Thursday night. COYG

Arsenal: Leno, Chambers, Mari, Luiz, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Aubameyang, Lacazette,.

Subs: Ryan, Gabriel, Ceballos, Holding, Soares, Pepe, Elneny, Smith rowe, Martinelli.

I’m glad he’s keeping Xhaka and Partey together because it’s clearly his choice of the central midfield pairing. I’d have liked to have seen Martinelli out wide on the left instead of Auba who’s out of form but Arteta seems to be letting him play his way back into form and that’s probably a good thing.
Chambers is in for his height against tall West Ham attackers I’d say. Mari has never really let us down.
    Not a bad team.

Just lol'd at Merse saying the reason Lingard's stats look bad is because he's a team player who isn't concerned about himself. Sure, the guy who puts his Jlingz clothing line branding on messages of commemoration for Manchester bombing victims isn't at all concerned about himself, ha.

10 minutes gone and we we’ve barely got a kick of the ball yet.

Bowen should be booked for diving

Straight through on goal and he only had eyes for the ground

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

Luiz didn’t need to commit there left us wide open.

    No more than we deserve.
    Awful start.

    Sorry lads.

    Of all people! Lingard

2-0 atrocious again but it’s grand we’re going in the right direction

    Awful from Leno.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Leno???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,509 ✭✭✭Underground

    What an awful goal.

Sh*te from the lads not paying attention, sh*te goalkeeping. We're not at the races at all today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

Leno is suspect. Saves us a lot but that’s yet another error.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,103 ✭✭✭DenMan

    Disaster!

As bad as this is I'm kind of sanguine about it all.

I wrote off our league season in my mind a long time ago, back in December. We are just going to lurch towards the end of the season winning a few games here and there, losing a few games here and there. It is what it is.

All our eggs are in the EL basket at this point. Today doesn't change that.

    We are so mid table

How many seasons now does this statement fit though. The club is just not ambitious mid table money works for the Kronks

Yep we're in trouble as long as they're around unfortunately.

We look wrecked or something. Heavy legs all over

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Like Brown’s cows.
That team doesn’t look prepared at all.
Worse than in midweek so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

We're playing that bad, Antonio actually looks like a footballer out there

You put this and the last game together and you have to ask what Arteta planned for, he got nothing from them Thursday and worse from them today.

People can hide behind rebuilds or whatever they want it should never be acceptable to be this bad

Didn't even celebrate his goal - the ultimate insult.

What excuses are they going to give for this horse ****. Pathetic all round.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,309 ✭✭✭Azatadine

And yet, there will be apologists coming on here......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Why does Partey actively look for tackles when he's in possession?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

Worst 30 mins of defending I’ve seen us conjure up in a while.

Everything Xhaka does today is at snails pace it’s actually painful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,103 ✭✭✭DenMan

    3-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭carltonleon

Unreal, 5 players turn their backs for 2nd goal and Tierney plays a ****ing blind pass inside for the 3rd goal, shocking and just shows how far off we still are. Serious investment and upgrades required... I still can’t believe we sold Emi Martinez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,309 ✭✭✭Azatadine

Arteta will come out with loads of meaningless words at the end of this debacle.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭jonneymendoza

    We’re back in this.

Nice goal. Bit late to only be waking up now unfortunately.

Well at least it's not another 0-0 or 1-1. It's interesting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

Good man chambers! Great touch and turn by Laca.

Its never to late, 4-3 Arsenal incoming:)

All OK then? Everything is great?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,147 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Saka just lacking the confidence to take the extra touch to set him up, and he just pulls and hopes. Pity that, because getting a second before half time might have actually meant we were back in it.

Lads Auba needs to be hooked at half time
