Is Luiz able to pass forward at all?

All OK then? Everything is great?

Likewise? Everytime time we lose possession I bet you scream arteta out.

Throw in to the other team? Arteta out!

Wind blowing wrong direction? Arteta out!

    I'd still have some hope.

    Lads it's West Ham.

Just after saying the same to my son.

Pity we couldn't have taken one of those chances to make it 3-2, West ham would have been rattled. HT came too soon we had all the momentum

On this kind of form and playing like we’ve done this week we are not winning any Europa League.
So many poor players out there today.
We could still get something from this game but the football is so poor and they don’t even seem to care.
Thank God I gave up letting it anger me.

It's such a far cry from even the end of the Wenger days. Long long way away.

I remember a 3-3 before with West Ham when Andy Carroll got a hat trick, were Arsenal 3 up that day?

Jasus we make Jessie Lingard look like Messi far too often (once is too much but that's twice, or even three times he's scored against us). 2nd goal was shocking and 3rd goal, Antonio absolutely bullied David Luiz but we were eaten alive down our left side.

The blame lies squarely with the midfield though who were shocking for most of that first half. Tommy Partey would want to up his game a bit. He looks a shadow of his former Atletico and early Arsenal self. I'm not sure does he has much more credit in the bank to put it down to simply a lack of match fitness.

We are still in it though at had we got it back to 2 at half time I think it was well and truly game on. It still is, and hopefully, we come out all guns blazing. nothing to lose now

Again, Auba....we gave you a new contract for a reason, and yet you are stink yet again.

Are we in a tactical straitjacket or is some of our players just overrated and not that good to begin with?? This nonsense vanity football from the back drives me spare against a high press.

Time for Arteta to show the big balls and get Auba off at halftime

Agree about Partey but Xhaka has been as bad if not worse. Poser.

Unfortunately modern day footballers are for the large part snow flake egotistical spoilt brats! Problem is a manager has to work with that, the old hard line routine gets no manager of a top team anywhere you have to factor all that into your management style. Look at all the top managers now they all do it

Brian Clough would probably end up murdering some of the modern players today and i mean literally murder them. Even genuinely consistently good players like John Robertson, Stuart Pearce or Roy Keane weren't safe with him :D

Aubas form is worrying, when he's bad he's really really bad. Should get Martinelli on instead of him

Elneny and Partey seemed to have formed a great partnership and dominated the midfield against United earlier in the season. Elneny seems to be behind the overrated Danny Ceballos in the pecking order. For me he is far more composed then Granit Xhaka who seems to be highly rated by three managers now.

Meanwhile, Pepe hits a bit of form and he cant seem to buy a game at the moment

Laca should had a free/penalty there for at least one of those "tackles".

We can't seem to buy a penalty. The Burnley game this year really sticks in my craw

Auba not even bothered to jump when a ball is crossed into him. The only good thing he's done recently is get stuck in a traffic jam.

All messing and other stuff aside, what the heck is gone wrong with him? He has just been terrible since the start of the season and it wasn't a gradual decline or anything. Off a cliff face.

    Getting interesting now!

Good to see a flashed ball across the opposition defence. Something we haven't done enough for almost 20 years now. Usually Bellerin only just gets to a ball at the end-line and gets a limp flick across to the keeper.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Ødegaard pulling the strings, fair play to chambers hand in both goals

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,619 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Throw on Pepe and Martinelli now to run at them.

Chambers of all people showing him how it’s done

Saka is off the boil today. Might have a niggling injury.

Martin Tyler cannot commentate on a game involving ESR without referring to him as the Croydon de Bruyne.

Partey 50 shots 0 on target this season

Almost as mind boggling as that back pass that almost resulted in a West Ham goal.
