Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xhaka was bound to get injured. Bit of luck getting Tierney into the side.

In BT they just said Xhaka got a knock in warmup and Tierney will start instead

It's a pity we're losing Xhaka in the midfield slot though.

Probably was playing left back knowing us :pac:

Lets hope Tierney is fully fit and doesn't need to be replaced at any stage

English on mine if you're stuck

Patience and no **** ups could be key here. Villareal look to be set up really deep. Just don't run yourselves out early and make sure there's something left after an hour. Bound to be multiple chances.

Had English (BT) and switched over.

How is he getting a shot away under no pressure? This is already worrying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭wonga77

Good save Leno, we need to be closing down shots quicker than that though

Have a feeling Pepe is going to do well tonight

Looks like Tierney isnt fully fit and Xhaka was to play LB.

Bellerin's lost any pace he had. Another for the chopping board soon. :/

Tierney could Put a ball on a two pence piece from 60 yards.

Bound to get injured this evening.

    Nah just 60.

I've not had much time for him the last few seasons but his pace was the only thing that could still be pointed at. If that's gone then he's done.

    Nice header Leno. **** me.

Our attacking play is painfully slow

Well the woman on BT was just complaining that everything Arsenal were doing was played to feet. :pac:

(Gave up on the Turkish one, stupid internet)

Your woman is actually talking more than the main commentator, never thought I’d miss Michael Owen

    Tierney looks ****ed already!

It’s nearly always like that. So frustrating.

Football and a lot of other sports and media will learn over the next few years what happens when you ignore what long-term fans want. And then wonder why they're losing viewers.

You'd swear Arsenal were the ones with the 2-1 lead with the speed they're playing at.

Yes, it's extremely frustrating. Especially compared to how we used to play.

When? I remember saying the same when Ramsay used to play in the center

This is a bad watch so far. Just nothing going on. Odegaard really struggles to get into a lot of games

I guess I'm in the minority bit I don't mind her

I remember the days when sky used to time in seconds how quickly we went from one end of the pitch to the other and scored.

    Who is it that's commentating?

Indeed. Come on lads, she's way better than Michael Owen or Steve McManaman.

We playing so slow, Auba not involved. A long ball at the top would be so good if Luiz was available

Karen Carney. So close from auba

**** that was close, first proper sight of goal we've had

    Great volley off the post

Leno decides to stop **** around at the back, lo and behold 2 minutes later we've had a corner and hit the post. Funny that.

Glad to see the back of Chukwueze tbh. I think I heard on the Arsecast we nearly signed him a few years ago, good player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,161 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

    Partey looks a liability.

Bellerin is the worst player on the field and its not even close

That particular passage of play really annoyed me, standing in no mans land like a turkey

Cedric or Chambers needed, he's not offering anything at either end of the pitch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,766 ✭✭✭farna_boy

Has Pepe been told not to run at people tonight or something?

He’s killing me with the amount of moves he’s slowed down, not really like him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Bit like Real last night, Arsenal need a goal to turn the tie on its head and are just going through the motions
