I assumed I'd be long asleep now.

    D doing well.

How KC only have 6 points is beyond me. They've been in the endzone and had the ball on the half foot line.

I was anticipating a beat down, and to be honest, it could still be coming. I think we saw the Offense switch on in that last drive.
Another score for Denver before the half would be nice.

Glad they went for the FG - a punt there would have been raising the white flag.

My god, the Chiefs receivers are so open without a defender within 3 yards of them.

Going for 2 there drives me up the wall.

Sign of a dominant franchise, winning when you are not at your best.

Yeah, way too early for it.

The decision to punt on 4&3 from midfield with 6 minutes left and down 3 felt wrong to me. I thought that was Denver's best opportunity to win the game.

They has a 2nd & 4, on the 48 ran it for a yard, then threw an incompletion, followed by a punt. A pretty pathetic sequence.

I got the impression tonight that Kansas City could turn up the heat any time they wanted. Denver had a pretty lucky first half to go in ahead.

It wasn't pretty but job done without playing particularly well. The red zone deficiencies lately are a bit of a worry but again we saw Mahomes make a few throws out of nothing and Kelce is ridiculous when it comes to YAC.

Just checking the scores from the late window games as I was concentrating on the eagles game and I remember the post above about the pats and how relaxed the poster was watching it. Just for the record, the chargers did have defensive players on the field at some points during the game ?

The Chargers were absolutely abysmal on Special Teams yesterday:

    Missed FG (46)
Punt Return for TD against (70)
FG Blocked (58) returned for TD
61 yard punt return (led to FG)
The Patriots punted 5 times, the Chargers had the wrong number of men on the field for 3 of them.
    Holding on 2nd half kickoff
False Start on one of their own punts.

I had seen the Chargers a couple of times this year, and they played much better than their record would suggest, but yesterday looked to be the end for Lynn.

Cheers for that reply. I saw the score this morning and was just stunned at maybe not that the pats won even though I picked the chargers to win but the fact it was a shutout. I like you have seen the chargers a few times this season and I agree that their record isn’t reflective of how good they are.

And just to add I know this is because of Covid and the schedule moving around but I could get very used to live nfl at 10pm on a Monday night our time.

    I have to agree.

Though I'm watching some turgid English nonsense while I wait. Mon!

What I've seen this season from the Steelers offense is learning as the game goes. No matter how good your defense they find a way to score. I'd expect to see a successful drive this time.
Defense is lights out, incredible to equal the sack record tonight.

Not the most exciting first quarter of football.

There you go, they find the holes even in the best defenses.

Ridiculous play by Chase Young to prevent the TD.

Poor defence from Washington there. TD Steelers.

Bizarre end to that half. I hate these games on Sky where we don't get the US coverage.

Officials gifted WFT 3 points there after Smith took the ball off the field. Bizarre to say the least

TD Washington. A nice drive from Washington.

This has NOT gone as expected.

Impressive last few weeks from Ron.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,486 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Wow, who'd have expected the win streak to end at home to Washington?

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,867 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Alex Smith doing the Chiefs a favour, what a guy.

Football Team hasn't beaten Pitt in Pittsburgh since 1991. Madness. (Obvs it's NFC v AFC, but still)

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,867 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Steelers were 78-1-1 with a 14-point lead in that stadium

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,085 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

    Great response from Bills there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,486 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Niners are a shadow of the team the were last year.

Given they're injuries they're having an okay season.

Also, the Bills are just a cracking team to watch. I love Josh Allen.

Well even when they had them they didn't look so good.

Bills are very good, I'm a huge fan of Allen too.
