Eartha Kitt - Santa Baby. Handy choice there.

Wham - Last Christmas VS Mud - Lonely This Christmas. Toss up here. Mud, just about.

Bing Crosby - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. More cheerful.

The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping. It's very different to any other Xmas song imo.

Significantly less than the sum of its parts.

Eartha Kitt - Santa Baby VS Darlene Love - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) <like both but prefer Darlene>
Wham - Last Christmas VS Mud - Lonely This Christmas <had to think about this one as I do like both, but at least people know Wham when they hear it!>
Bing Crosby - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas VS Bing Crosby - White Christmas
The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping VS Frank Sinatra - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas <never cared for 'Christmas Wrapping' much>

I'm probably in the minority but I have never liked 'White Christmas', I just find it really dull. The only use I can think for it is if you want something to put your hyperactive kids to sleep on Christmas Eve.

    This one is incredibly difficult.

Wham - Last Christmas VS Mud - Lonely This Christmas
Bing Crosby - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas VS Bing Crosby - White Christmas
The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping VS Frank Sinatra - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

I really dont mind who wins any of these though

Wait till the next round. My JusticeforJona campaign will actively canvass against, buying votes, intimidating voters, getting voters banned. I will stop at nothing....

No, totally agree with you, it's an incredibly dreary dirge of a song.

If we lose all the dreary dirges, we'll have a comp of 5 or 6 songs :)

First time clicking into this thread but was surprised to see this, and not sure if anyone else has pointed it out:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonely_This_Christmas

"Despite several incorrectly-labelled videos on YouTube, Elvis Presley never recorded the song"

Even the Youtube video says it's by Mud when you click 'Show More' under the video description; probably why the comments are turned off on it!

Not saying it should be disqualified but it should at least be credited to the proper artists. Otherwise we may as well credit Ronan Keating with the original Fairytale of New York *shudder*

Damn! I voted for Elvis with Blue Christmas in my head and I hate that song by Mud!
