Dean Martin - Let it Snow VS The Ronettes - Frosty The Snowman <love both of these, giving it to Dean because The Ronettes have 'Sleigh Ride' here as well>

Chris Rea - Driving Home for Christmas VS Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday <like both but prefer Wizzard>

Bryan Adams - Christmas Time VS Peter J Wilhouski - Carol of the Bells <I just don't like Bryan Adams in general, and however good the song might be I don't want him singing at me at Christmas>

Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime VS Andy Williams - It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year <Wonderful Christmastime is grand but a bit too....naff>

Carol of bell has some amount of great versions online. There's violin version, cello, celtic women, and a METALLICA version! Although they don't sing any words.
    Stunning song ..

the hot chocolate would definitely end up all over me in that scenario!!

That's grand too. Its Christmas. Everyone is locked. You're covered in chocolate. Someone is bound to lick it off - not this year of course that would be epidemiologically unsound.

I've to go have dinner, but if possible to request in advance, I'll vote for anything that is up against FTONY.

But if you are locked the alcohol could protect from Covid. I am willing to be part of the advance testing if i can choose the lickees....

And the song was first performed in the film Holiday Inn, not the film White Christmas!

Sorry Kathleen but I think you have to take the rough with smooth.

See some guy covered in - is it chocolate or bovril. Only one way to be sure.

The window scene with Frank but I prefer this version.

After listening his voice is beautiful and i don't see it as a dirge at all but does anyone else think he is not dead on with the rhythm of each line? Some words a bit off (not off key, off rhythm)

Dean Martin - Let it Snow 16 4 The Ronettes - Frosty The Snowman
Chris Rea - Driving Home for Christmas 9 11 Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
Bryan Adams - Christmas Time 7 11 Peter J Wilhouski - Carol of the Bells
Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime 7 13 Andy Williams - It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Chris Rea going down to Wizzard is interesting, the song was our second highest for nominations with 6 received. Luck of the draw I guess.

Dean Martin has been dominant so far, possibly an outside contender for the win?

Last batch of our last 32 coming right up
