Peace On Earth has to be the most overrated boring snoozefest of a song to have ever gotten this far in any of these tournaments...

And it has Bowie so an absolute no-no for me.

It's not as bad as people voting for Wham over Bruce. Or worse, Aled Jones over anything.

Leave it out you, they are great songs. I'd give Bruce one so he's not exactly a loser really :p

Hate would be more like it! Him and Prince, I don't get the fuss

It has come to my attention the result for The Pogues VS Lennon and Yoko match may have been incorrect.

    STOP THE COUNT

After a recount it transpires the score is actually

The Pogues and Kirsty McCall - Fairytale of New York 11 11 John Lennon and Yoko Ono - Happy Christmas (War Is Over)

    Meaning we have a tie...

    Decision incoming shortly

Frank Sinatra - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

I dare you to boot FTONY out. The haunting echoes of the kids in War is Over is the greatest sound ever recorded btw, and that's a scientific fact, not just my opinion. Look it up.

Bowie lasted decades writing his own stuff which was not mainstream but memorable.

This isn't that tough for me in all honesty. Fairytale of New York is overplayed, no doubt. But it's miles better than the other song. So my vote is going to The Pogues

You did this. Abstaining. People died so you could vote on this niche corner of a declining website in this festive-based music contest. Shame.

Here if you were in crisps thread (war) you'd know all about it. Swore I'd never rage on one of these again but I won't lie, the boy of the PTSD choir is ringing out in my brain
