spend 30 on food and household (that you most likely need anyway)
    add slab for 24
    total = 54
    - 10 discount

    total 44.

the computer may say the 10 came off the food and household, we all know it really was off the booze.

    I not get it

spend 30 on food and household (that you most likely need anyway) less 10 that is 20

add slab for 24 total still 44 -> the 10 came off the food and household

    It was just a joke.

    Smirnoff/morgans/gordons 700ml are €18 in tesco,

    the 1L are €27.

Not great seeing the 1L smirnoff is 20 in dunnes.

The fancier Gordons are also €18

You realise the voucher they are talking about is a tenner off €30, not €50.

So this is no different than paying for the groceries first, then paying for the drink separately.

But I would guess their tills are setup to recognise this, i.e. you can buy both alcohol and groceries together and it will just calculate the groceries value to see if your voucher is over the limit.

You can buy clothes at the grocery till in Dunnes, and the voucher only takes account of grocery.

Has anyone ordered Route 66 beer online?

Just seen an advert on FaceBook.

    https://www.route66beer.eu/age-restriction/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.route66beer.eu

Route 66 Craft Amber Lager Two Cases (48 cans) €49.99

Just noticed shipping to Ireland is €9.99, not too bad if you ordered multiple cases, I guess.

I used to love their KPA but got a case of bottles and it was total gas, couldn't taste the hops with all the fizz. I contacted them and they didn't want to know. Disappointed.

Wow. That's a serious bargain in these times of anti-alcohol promos. Thanks for the heads-up. Will grab some of that today.
