Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Tom Hanks at work again.

The mask has well and truly slipped.

Really hope that Gini is sitting deepest and that then frees up Thiago a bit to be higher up the pitch and have the ability to break down the defence. Having him picking the ball up from the CBs is not the best way to utilise his passing.

Milner will provide runs from midfield at least, breaking the lines. He was actually good at this on Sunday at OT. The 2nd goal came from a result of this and he had a great chance which he should have scored too.

Matip picks up one of his usual knocks and we could have Henderson and Wijnaldum at centre-back together against West Ham on Sunday.

We should be springing a surprise here and park the bus big time. Do to them what they have planned to do to us. It's not great from Klopp that no matter who is missing or injured we play the same, come on, adapt to the situation. We are a weakened side away to spurs on the back of an awful run, park the bus, hit them with Mane and Salah on the break

Still a decent team all things considered.
But I would be worried about Milner in this. Spurs are mobile here. But think their defence is very ordinary ..
    I’m hoping 2-1 pool

Milner to be booked for a lazy tackle in the first 15 minutes, never been more certain of anything in my entire life

At that stage you gotta do something like put Andy CB and bring in Tsimikas

Wait come to think of it surely that's a better plan than what we've been doing

If Son has his shooting boots on tonight we are stone cold ****ed.

Why can't we even bring in someone on loan ffs. Baffling.

The more I think about this the more it surprises me we haven't tried it, he routinely plays there for Scotland and all

Lad relax, not saying this is going to be easy but Spurs have had plenty of ropey performances
this season. If the front 3 get back on it we can get a result here

    That is horrendous from Mane.

    Punished instantly.

**** sake. Absolutely no surprise how they score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Son ran in behind Matip there. Hendo didn’t track him.

    Just off thankfully.

Why did VAR use Trent's arm?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    Massive, massive let off.

    Fear for us tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,462 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

No foul on Firmino, fck off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,287 ✭✭✭✭citytillidie

Why did the use Trent's arm?

Hitting the arm above the sleeve line is now not considered hand ball and that was the last part of Trent back

Leg was off and if any part that can be used to score is off your off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,462 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Firmino very light weigh at the moment, so soft in the touch and fight to keep it when he has it, plus his passes are snail mail

I'll take the offside after some of the shít that's gone against us, but the rule is just frustrating.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,462 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Turns out you can pull shirts in the box, Liverpool shirts that is .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,805 ✭✭✭mightyreds

How does var not look at these or is pulling the shirt ok now ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,527 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

Thought any part of the defender was the line then, obviously must be a foot then!
