Finally some really good attacking play though. Cutting through them reasonably regularly in a way we haven’t in a month.

That quick free Mane tried a few minutes ago just sums his evening up tus far.

Mane really needs a stuffy one to go in.

Has had 4 chances now with no goal. There was a Salah cross too into space but the the one where the ball just bounced off of him while on the edge of the box was the worst.

Don't get me started on him taking that quick free kick twice. And giving it away in the process.

And he dominates the defenders attention so much that the other lads have better chances too. Huge loss on set pieces.

Overall, encouraging first half.

Think they look a lot more authoritative on the ball and have created decent chances.

As much as I've said Mane is off form, you can't fault his effort. Definitely not hiding and another night he has three already.

I think Sadio's form has been our biggest loss over the last few weeks. So much comes from him, hopefully that will give him a boost!!!!

Yep I was marvelling at how he plays the game at half speed, just a nod of the ball here, a quick accurate tap back to the keeper there. Nothing spectacular but always effective no matter the pressure.
