Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any kind of a win with that team against an in form Hammers would be a great result

    I'd take a draw now.

With the team we have been forced to play and the form West Ham are in. A draw would be a great result...

I'd take football being suspended for a month.

Hopefully West Ham's form and Liverpool's depleted team will give West Ham a bit of extra confidence to try come out and play a bit more than usual. Gaps might appear for Thiago to play into.

Hope it's Gini at 6 and Thiago & Milner ahead of him like the Spurs game. That midfield trio worked well in that system that night. We won't get more than 60 out of Milner today tho IMO.

Soucek will take some minding on the set pieces. Great in the air.

Very surprised Bobby isn’t starting when Mane is missing too

Ah the lovely dulcet tones of Martin Tyler and Gary Neville. This Sunday hasn't been great, only the lads can save my weekend now!!! Edit - the lads in red

Decent midfield 3 and an in form Salah might be all we need to win this. Back 4 is not at all bad either ........... 3.5 out of 4, no offence to Nat.

Shaqiri and / or Origi might shine also.

    Strange line up today.

All out attack is probably the best policy to protect the back four.

I was just thinking that....he looks like an auld lad that would be reffing our juniors hurling matches on a Sunday morning. Putting on his boots from the booth of the car!!

Strikers are greedy, especially successful ones. Always see it as unfair critcism.

Judging by how Origi is playing in the first few 10 minutes maybe Klopp just decided he was good enough to play. Seems to be trying now.

Milner showing Origi how to press and block.

    Some neat stuff today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,522 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

How long before Klopp needs to start increasing pressure on refs to protect his players.

The amount of fouls not called is incredible this season.

All very safe and time consuming . MAYBE THats the plan

I was thinking that myself....is this almost last chance saloon for him.

How do people see Robertson's FF team?

It must be online for all to see I take it?

This is apparently it, ironically named Show me the Mane while he sold Mane and bought Son at 4.55pm on Friday

How is it we brought in a “throw-in” coach, but the club can’t seem to see or don’t address how constantly poor corner taking is! Rarely beating the first man, and the short corners are amounting to nothing either.

Insider info - given the way the PL protects the betting companies, he’d nearly want to be careful he doesn’t get a 10 match ban!

Dont look like we will create much here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,843 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Salah has forgotten hes in a front two ges far to wide
    Origi movement is just terrible

I’m fine with this... West Ham pressing fairly hard, but we’ve been keeping the ball well. They’ll get tired and the gaps will appear.

Origi movement in the box is very poor. Stands there when he knows a cross is coming in

He's terrible, just keeps having chats or talks about players performances in previous games an does not react to the game.

How's he rated as a great commentator is beyond me and that's nothing to do with his alleged anti- Liverpool bias.

Yikes thiago needs to help out TAA.

    Getting sucked in

He got fair excited there when West Ham were in the box...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

I think the problem is that Tyler feeds off the crowd. Its hard to be excited when you're commenting into a chasm.

Dont get me wrong im not his biggest fan, but i can understand it can be difficult.

There's no linking play between the front three at all, each in his own silo

I don’t think he’s any different to when there’s a crowd. Been complaining about his lack of enthusiasm or energy for yeeeaaars at this stage.

I've heard it all now. The lengths that the broadcasters go to in order to filter out the crowd noise and have their commentary clear and audible only for their "star" commentator to feed off said noise is laughable. Surely any sort of halfwit can comment on what's in front of them if they have no other distractions? Even gogglebox is better than what Tyler offers these days!

Have played OK here so far but obviously missing a bit of cutting edge going forward.

Origi and Shaq off at half time

I'd say you couldn't play with origi at this stage, just a statue, no movement, can't compete for the 50/50.were basically playing with 10 men.
