Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Origi and Shaq off at half time

Not gonna happen, you should know that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Origi halfhearted without the ball, better on it, but off it,, shocking .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Every time we feel the need to Slag of firmino remind yourself of origi in action 🙈very poor footballer

Origi and Shaq off at half time

Origi ya. Id leave shaq. Well able to pick out a key pass.

If we had someone who'd move (anyone but origi) then shaq well able to pick em out.

The central part of the London Stadium pitch is deffo less well lit compared to the rest

Honestly i wonder about Klopp what in the last 20 games Origi has played has made Jurgen think that today of all days he might not just stand still and slow down every single attack we get,

Its insanity to keep picking him and expect anything other than the drivel he has produced for the last two years

I find in hard to believe that Minaminho is a worse player than Origi.....everything about Origi is average at the minute, his touch is simply dreadful!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    This is awful.

West Ham are doing what everyone should do against us, and we've nothing.

    Strange corner from WH.
We are fairly limp up front. Wonder if Bobby has a niggle because Origi is poison..

I don’t think he’s any different to when there’s a crowd. Been complaining about his lack of enthusiasm or energy for yeeeaaars at this stage.

I stand corrected. I noticed it a lot more since the COVID restart.

I'd prefer Rob Hawthorne any day of the week.

Surely Shaq was fouled there first?

True, it started out OK and got worse. The bit of zip in the first 5 minutes is long forgotten.

I think bobby for origi and have Shaq thiago salah and Bobby interplay

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

That definitely looked a foul on Shaqiri at first viewing, not against!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,522 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

Origi. Where moves go to die.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Only for Phillips there were 4 West Ham players queuing up for the header there.

    Nat Phillips is immense.

Nat Phillips is passing out from the back like a mad thing.

Suffering from a complete lack of quality up front.

Only one to go back, but had he not they were offside, so lucky he won it .

Div needs to do better there, fine ball.

Think you can point Philips out to anyone in the world, Sports fan or not, and they'd tell you there is a man who loves to head a ball.

One look at the head up on him, and you just know.

One of my gripes with the way we set up on those set plays is its just purely to try catch the opposition offside and its so risky! Fair play to Phillps there, I'm not sure why we still insist on defending that way...

There’s very little crossover in what they give you... they’re not really competing for a role. If Minamino was playing today it would be instead of Shaq, not Origi. Div’s an out and out striker. Taki’s a deeper lying playmaker.

Div was the only attacker that looked half decent against Burnley, which has probably bought him the chance today. Looks off it today though. Would like to see Salah playing much closer to him as a 2. Div coming into it more the past few mins.

Phillips doing well today - looks a lot better than Rhys.

I'll never understand why a ref can call half time when a team has a corner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Haven’t played too badly. Been on top in general but it’s such a makeshift side there is no fluency especially going forward.

I have at least have heard of Ben Davis.

Complete ****show where the game is actually won. I am now happy to abandon Origi to the wolves of the internet.

In fairness, you've heard of every under age and emerging player in GB. The question is, do you rate him?

Sign the lad for £2m then sell him in the summer for £2m

At 25 I don't see a Championship footballer staying at the club longer than 6 months.

Because time is up, it could be another 30/40 seconds played by the time the attacking team sets ups and makes use of the corner....he will then only get grief for going nearly a minute over the allocated time

On topic of the game, Origi needs to come off. Bring on Minamino or Firmino. Origi just walks around the place half arsed

Thiago is an absolute liability defensively, he reminds me of Paul Scholes in that regards.

Somewhat stodgy game, but it's to be expected with the line ups.

Grind down West Ham and hopefully they can tire later on. Bring on Bobby, Jones & Ox to exploit this later on.

I don't think they have signed him yet, just heard talk of them trying to sign a pre contract. Looked around and could not see anything about the signing either but could be wrong.

Loves any kind of mis-timed tackle, even better if it's sliding or from behind or has a flailing leg...

Celtic want him in the summer - could be a bit of interesting horse trading. Give VDB on loan and 2 mill to Preston to get him now, then in the summer give him to Celtic with money to get Ajer.

All those that used to call for Bobby to be dropped for Origi because there was no way Origi could be worse than Bobby.

    Well I give you Origi.

Be giving Shaq and Origi 10 mins for the 2nd half to see if they can do anything. They’ve been anonymous. Otherwise get Firmino and one of Ox/Taki/Curtis on.
