Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gini is made of that stuff in Wolverine
    Give the lad a contract

Richard Keys was laughing at Liverpool complaining about Son being offside at half time.

Now, he’s looking for some sort of foul in Bobby’s goal.

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He's awful. No wonder Sky got rid of them.

76% Liverpool possession and Cunningham is saying Spurs dictated the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,952 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

The VAR check for the goal was thanks to Eric Dier throwing himself to the ground in the hopes that VAR would make something up and say he was fouled.

We will look back at this one in May as a crucial stepping stone to the back to back titles

I'm a massive fan of Naby but lads Jones is 19, how good is he going to be?

Fabinho was great as well, love his reading of the game

Looking at the goal again, I think I know what José was sore about at the end.

Hendo half blocks Dier, helping Bobny get the free header.

Watch it. Barely fúcking touches him.

There are plums, and then there's Kenny Cunningham.

English is such a **** language. That's amazing

    Thoroughly deserved.

Pushed on for the win throughout, took risks but that's what wins big nowadays, the days of Jose's ultra Conservative cynical game are limited thankfully.

A word on the referee, who allowed Hjolberg Aurier and Sissoko in particular to cynically foul for the entire 90 minutes. Any 50/50 decisions or close went Spurs way, with Mane in particular a victim, and still the lads prevailed. Another Masterplan, yea right!

    Brilliant result.

    Ignore him.

He's been anti Liverpool and/or Klopp for a long time.

I think tonight is a great opportunity to put down a marker, if after all our injuries and covid issues, we are still top of the league, it will have an impact on the other teams I feel.

That was a massive win. Huge psychological blow to Spurs and everyone else.

Cherry on top is seeing Mourinho so so bitter :-)

Keyes and Gray are saying on bein, he was fouled, They are worse than tyler ever was

Absolutely delighted with that. 76% possession and 800 passes to 250. But this Spurs team on the break is terrifying. I don't know how long fans in the stadium will put up with it though, its fine if he wins but who wants to watch that every week if you aren't winning the league?

“A very, very unfair result” says Jose.

Jose saying it was an unfair win?

    How?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Jose reckons they deserved the win.

'Great performance and a very unfair result'.

He reckons a draw was unfair on Spurs even.

    I've missed him.

Mane would have been well justified in booting Aurier halfway into the stand for the sh1thousery that was handed to him all game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,791 ✭✭✭✭Charlie19

Even the cameraman is shaking his head listening to Jose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭fyfe79

    5. 5. 5. 5 of them. 5. 5.

    Jose falling apart.

Up there with Pep's "twice!, TWICE!"

Jurgen has broken the 2 of them. You'd love to see it.

Beat the league leaders who haven't lost since opening day while missing our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice CBs, along with all 3 of our summer signings. How's that for a statement?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,694 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

    Apparently the best team lost?
No idea what game Jose was watching.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

That’s a very Mourinho tactic at the end there - a defender throws himself to the ground defending a set piece in the hope of conning the ref. Hate that crap.

Jose aged about 10 years since the end of the game...

Spurs have one good trick, they are great on the break, and it almost worked for them despite being absolute scutter 90% of the time. Delighted with the 3 points. Big win. Great seeing Jose's face right after Bobbys header, lovely....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,952 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

God I love getting one over on Jose

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 775 ✭✭✭RonanG86

Now he's trying to play down that Spurs were in the CL two years ago by saying "Five players. Only five. Five."

And he's complaining about Klopp's behaviour on the touchline.

    Delicious Portuguese tears.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,305 ✭✭✭Alonso77

"the best team lost" haha Jose was smirking at Arteta for saying the exact same thing last week - lack of self awareness is delightful

Jose complaining about Klopp's touchline behaviour?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Lol he has to say that. He can't say Liverpool had a 19 year old making his first PL start at CB and a CM at CB and he barely tried to test them and actually went more defensive as the game went on. He has one way to play and he'll be booed out of that new stadium when they get fans back in and watch this for a few months while paying a lot of $$$$$ for the privilege.

Back on top with 28 pts, but it's mad to think that we were on 37 at this stage last year.

Jose and Frank Lampard are fúcking weird.

How grown men let a man whose merely animated to annoy them so much is beyond me.

Your teams aren't as good as Liverpool. Fact.

Take your tantrums and move along.

    Tim Sherwood hahahahahahahaha

Kenny Cunningham is in denial here. He’s literally calling black, white. He has forgetten all our chances.

No better way to beat that team and their tactics.
A joyous goal if ever there was one!
The Kop knew who scored as the gleam of teeth ran the length of the field towards them.
    So many positives.
Gini, Jones Hendo, Bossed the game.

Great result, a bit of daylight at the top and Mourinho beaten again.
    What a great night !!!

Btw it's incredible to see how many people will still try to tell you through gritted teeth "oh Mourinho's not actually upset, he's playing mind games, if he throws a tantrum and cries all over TV then it distracts from his team's performance ;)"
