No knee jerk here but we are struggling.
Our style of play isn't working and Trent has been fairly poor recently.
Constantly trying to lob the ball into the box against so many defenders isn't working. Need to mix it up with quick interchanges just outside the box to try get runners in.

Now, will someone tell Jurgen or will I..

I'm the opposite on this.

Newcastle's set up is making it very difficult but Liverpool had a few good balls in and with better touches by the front three then it could have been a goal.

Patience is required here.

Also,don't see what Trent has done wrong, played a fantastic pass earlier.

Newcastle are willing to lose the ball, by playing a ball that could create a chance. Liverpool REFUSE to play the ball unless it's 100% sure.
We need to lose ball with final pass, better than just playing it around until the somehow they win it back.

Mo didn’t do much wrong. He was slotting that into the corner. Keeper was out quick and got a great touch on the save.

This! Nearly every pass is backwards as do slow, delay & not willing to risk a pass forward

Final ball has been dreadful tonight. Would be great to see Thiago on second half.

Also hard to know for sure but Philips seems quicker than Rhys Williams to me.

How do people see that a player is "off the pace"?

From a missed shot?

Never makes sense to me when Mane ran past a defender earlier showing plenty of pace.
