Minamino seems to work hard but always misses the ball. His awareness is not great. I expected a lot more of him, hopefully it's still to come, wanted to love him.

I'm so confused. Y'all talking about Fabhino's clearance and 3 minutes 37 second he miraculously clears the ball off the line. Commentator says, it's not for the first time so I reckon I missed the first one. I'd sat on the remote or something and paused the tv so I've been nearly four minutes behind for awhile.
It's much closer to 1/2 time than I realised.

Not the first time this season not this game since he dropped by to playing CB he has had about 3 goal line clearances

Id give tsimikas a pass...he's been injured most of the season and plays in literally one position, where he is not going to oust robbo.

Rewound it to watch back. It's an awful TV angle so not sure what the VAR lads watched but it's tough to make a call, especially to over turn the call on the field.

It’s easier to just accept that despite all the technology available to them, referees will still just decide if they want the result to go a certain way or not.

I mean, there is literally nothing to back him up giving that penalty since it was a blatant offside. He just simply chose to ignore it because he wanted to give them a penalty.

This is probably the first time since the season started that I’ve seen the benefit of the doubt go to the attacking team. You normally see lines drawn every which way trying there was an offside, this was an easy decision apparently.

I've rewatched it too, it's ahorrible angle. It looks offside but that could be my bias. What's certain is they only showed it once with a terrible angle meanwhile we had four or five different replays of the spot kick

Thank Christ the result is immaterial because in a season of shocking VAR decisions, that takes the fcuking biscuit.

All VAR is doing , is putting more humans into the decision making process and increasing the odds of a fcuk up.

Get rid of it. It's ruining football!
