I so want this to be true.

    https://www.mebere.com/capitol-death-taser-kevin-greeson-tasering-testicles-balls-himself-and-heart-attack
Outlets say that one of the individuals who died in an emergency probably played a role in their own death. News 1130, as well as other news outlets, claim that after mistakenly shocking himself with a taser, which caused him to have a heart attack, one of the males who died did so.

    https://www.rawstory.com/rosanne-boyland-capitol/
A woman who was reportedly trampled to death during a riot inside the U.S. Capitol was reportedly obsessed with the QAnon conspiracy theory, according to her friends and family. A photo shows that she carried a Gadsden "don't tread on me" flag at a protest before the violent siege.

The republicans will fûck him under the bus, they are doing, they have done...

And to prove it here are a handful of the many hardcore Republicans, high profile republicans who endorsed Biden..

When the likes of Colin Powell, is fûcking you under the bus... time to get a ticket and get on out of there..

You have a lot more faith in the Republicans than I do.

After Murkowski, who else is going to go across the aisle? Collins? Romney?

Romney was the first Senator from the impeached President's party to vote guilty in the last one.

Don't think so, only the actual impeachment and conviction would be a win.

Sure the GOP will get some bad press if they voted against it but they would suffer more damage with their supporters if they do vote for impeachment and conviction.

there's gonna be a civil war in the GOP over this. Its unimaginable that the entire party votes to defend Trump's insurrection, if so, it's likely to lead to a full scale actual civil war in the USA

The more likely (i flippin hope) scenario, is that the GOP split into pro-trump and pro-democracy factions and fight for control over the party. Could be a inner party split like the tea party, or purge of extremists from the GOP leading to a far right split forming a new party but I sincerely hope they don't unity behind Trump, cause that means guns on the streets

Ultimately with the GOP, the Donors are king. What do the main financial backers of the party want, and this is where the future lies.

I shudder to think of the possible outcomes

The mask slips fairly quickly in these kind of situations.

Remember in 2017 when the van was drove into pedestrians on London Bridge, I celebrated the death of all 3 of them terrorists. I am always happy to see a terrorist dead.

Celebrating? Nah, but its about on par with when a jihadiat accidentally blows only themselves up.

Watching her for the past few years, I'd put money on AOC being the first female President. She is closer to the Trump supporters in societal status than Trump himself.

Older Republican are obviously very threatened by her as they keep reverting back to her being a barwoman from NY.

Very capable and one to watch.

Isn't going to happen. The DNC are far, far, too conservative to let it happen.

or in other words, sucking at the same teat as the GOP and don't want to stray too far from the milk supply....

The Democratic party voters are far far closer to western liberal values than the DNC party is, but they're locked in a deal with the devil where they feel they need money to win elections and their voters interests do not align with their donors interests.

A proper cleanout is required of that whole corrupt system.

Its an extremely pivotal action because any such upheaval is a roll of the dice and the dice is usually loaded towards the rich and the powerful, and even if they lose, the weak are divided

CNN talking about launch codes, and fact he has his finger on a button and can push it any time. COME ON, Trump has fired less bullets than any president. So no chance he'd fire a nuclear missile .
This is far left media for you.

yeah, but only if your mean thugs with backpacks full of pipebombs, guns and assorted weapons marching on the capital with the intention to take over the government and overthrow the results of a democratic election under the instruction of an authoritarian political leader who promises them glory and wealth if they can defeat the rest of civil society in order to subjugate minorities and political opponents in a new order that promotes christian family values over equality and liberty for all.

I'm not saying there was a Hillsborough type situation going on. But there was an extremely tense one building up and rather than some sort of large "collusion" of groups, I think the forces involved just opted to defuse the situation instead of letting it get further out of control. They probably figured, correctly, that these numpties hadn't thought things through and it was a better option let them on through than have bullets flying.

In that respect, "law and order" was better served doing that, than turning things into a massacre. As things stand, there are 5 people dead. If they had been more heavy handed, god knows what the death toll would have been and that wouldn't have looked better, I assure you.
