That's all well and good for sheep-shooting Don Jr. to suggest, but Musk would still have to put the standard legal content limitations and moderation policies in place to comply with the T&Cs of the app stores and web hosts he'd have to use.

Given Musk's previous issues with social media, including calling people paedophiles, I don't think that would really bother Musk all that much.

I mean in fairness to Don.Jr, them teaming up with Musk would be a perfect match made in the fiery pits of Hell.

What I mean is that any new social media platform, by Musk or Trump or anyone else, will have to follow the same T&Cs that got Parler removed, and the same ones that Twitter and FB follow. Given what's been told about the architecture of Parler, it really seems like a trump project from the ground up. However if you were to create something to entrap those far right nuts, they couldn't have done a better job
