Interesting, somehow Jordan got a text from the #IMPOTUS that he read into the record asking for peace.

    Might be this?

I was watching a video on Youtube by Legal Eagle and was saying there would be no chance of been convicted in a court of law as there are no unambiguous use of words for citing violence. He cited various Supreme court cases. However he said that the proof and how they convict in an impeachment case is different and even though he gave no opinion either way it would come down to how Republicans vote especially Mitch.

  • These people are only out to widen divisions, prominently on the Republican side.

Someone else has taken their life after realizing how ****ed they are for participating in a coup

Then again he was only initially arrested and charged for violating the 6 PM curfew. Wonder what else he did now.

That's definitely how it's coming across. So much for letting things cool off.

At least he didn't take the family with him.

Couldn't they just vote without all this hullabaloo?

How horrible for them though. It wasn't pretty, according to the report. Gunshot and bits everywhere. He was booked in DC and let go home pending his court date.

    He is a ****ing coward.

He hasn't got the balls to go say it on tv.

Nothing less than that will do jack sh1t to his loony supporters.

    It's called democracy.

No surprise you are against it.

Couldn't they just vote without all this hullabaloo?

They could if Republicans had not objected to the unanimous consent motion(s).

Of course not, that would remind people that he isn't being censored by the government.

The Trumplicans need to disgrace themselves some more.

Tragic. He had everything, wife, kids, nice home and good job. On the surface he's not the typical crazy Trump supporter you'd expect.

Yeah I don't think a curfew violation is really what he was most scared of, unless he was just really distraught about having a criminal record. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me and I hope the family gets some understanding.

Which is actually even more frightening. The MAGA cult has permeated all levels of society.

Jordan's style at least in these last few rounds of debate has been to reserve the clock trying to get the last word in.

Democrats gamed the reservations to frustrate that effort last night and you could hear his irritation :D

All politics is roughly 95% hullabaloo.

Lol. This clown saying unite etc and promising to be bipartisan if they don’t impeach.

How about back it up your promises and vote to impeach instead of hanging it over their heads.

    ****ing bellends this lot.

I posted this earlier - worth watching from 19:20. Basically up to that explains the test for incitement. From that point, he explains that the added actions of Trump that day can only add to the argument for impeachment.

Ultimately, it's going to be a test whether or not any future president can send an unruly mob to invade Congress again by just telling them that Trump did it previously without any repercussions.

Impeachment is entirely a political process. It's not a legal process so there are none of the evidence requirements for a legal case.

This is the QAnon lady. No chance you could work with her for unity. No chance.

    When is the vote?

  • Registered Users Posts: 83,514 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

    When is the vote?

When they run out of time on both sides. Listen up soon for one of them to ask how much is remaining. Time is counted by speech in 1/4s of a minute.

    When is the vote?

As soon as this debate is over, so an hour give or take.
