Why isn't Trump banned by Twitter, the platform that allows him spout all the bile?

He keeps their platform relevant. Millions of people check Trump’s Twitter feed which means money for them. If they had any moral backbone they would but this is America.

The only thing I'm surprised about is that its taken so long for Trumps supporters to take action.

BLM and Antifa have rioted, looted, destroyed and killed for the last 9 months, aided and abetted by the Democratic party who have persistently used the Race card.
Tensions have been stoked for the best part of a year and the Democrats have been like a red rag to a bull.

    Wouldn't go that far.

Their definitely has been hypocrisy regarding a lot of the ANTIFA/BLM protests which have been violent and at times downplayed by the media, but to be fair the likes of Biden hasn't jumped on that bandwagon and ran a lefty law and order type campaign.

    Regarding today, 2 wrong's don't make a right.

I have been told by MAGA people that violence is never the answer when the likes of Antifa attack their supporters and when police get attacked by anarchists, but this is not a peaceful protest and people are getting hurt many of whom are the police who supposedly the law and order Party support.

"Thankfully" not many masks so should be easy to identify the clowns behind this so arrest and come down harshly.
    C

Am I the only surprised that Capitol Hill doesn't seem to have re-enforced glass in the windows and that some of the protesters smashed through too easily?

    Took their sweet f*cking time
It was probably assumed that National Guard would come in, this is usually their bag.

Of course, Trump's team are refusing to send them. Because he's the one who sent the terrorists.

Looks an accident. No one panicking, and then a random single shot.
    Weird .

    It's full of armed police.

Also, it's an old building (by US standards). They enlarged it at one stage (the old columns are out in the arboretum on NY Ave) but I think that was long long before you'd be thinking about bullet proof anything

Yes, these toe rags bleating on about the greatest democracy on earth... Jesus.

Think... republicans are fukkkkkked now...this is a watershed moment... not for decades or a gigantic fûckup by the Democrats will you see a republican President...trust has gone out the window.

Should be the case but remember Republicans were back in after one term post Nixon.

It is the police's fault, their lack of aggression created this dangerous situation. They should have made it in no uncertain terms that if you enter the building you will be shot dead. wtf is this crap?!

Rightly so. Its a shameful emotive moment.

And a sad realisation of how far the country has fallen.

74 million votes. That can't be lost in this.

Maybe, but no panic after the shot either. Seemed to be security on back of that door, but also in the hall with the protesters.

The only question is why they bothered with any treatment. Someone innocent may require that treatment.
