I am on a wireless service and am paying for 20meg download.

If I run a Speedtest it shows I am getting close to this speed.

However if I download something off the internet, the speed maxs out at 2.4m/sec.

    MB to mb conversion.
2.4 mega bytes is equivalent to 19.2 mega bits

In short you are getting full speed from your wireless connection.

Google for Speed Test Group, it gives you results in Mbit/s, not in MByte/s.
You can see your real speed, as promised by the ISP
