    Hi guys 
    What do you think is going to happen re southern sales and customers in the New Year? I'm holding out for a new TV until January but I'm concerned about duty and taxes going up.

    Hi Baby Builder,

    we are seeing lots of Brexit related queries - here is our best read on the issue at the moment:

    What is happening?
    At present we cannot determine exactly what effect Brexit will have on our business as there is no firm guidance from government on shipping or tariffs between UK mainland to Northern Ireland or UK to ROI.
     
    Pricing
    Our aim is to maintain all pricing as close to current levels as possible
     
    Service and Guarantees
    Our service and 6-year TV guarantee conditions will all remain as previously – our appointed service agent for TV Craigavon TV have already established NI and ROI trading companies and structures so our NI and ROI service operations will remain unchanged.
     
    Returns and Customer service
    Our returns and Customer service policies remain unchanged and we will continue to adhere to either UK/NI or EU Customer rights legislation – whichever grants the Customer the greatest rights.
     
    Security of supply
    We are already experiencing significant shortages across many product lines due to component and shipping delays caused by Covid – we do anticipate that we will see significant shortages for an initial period whilst shipping, customs and tariff regulations are established and actioned.

    Online sales
    We may have to restrict certain product lines or temporarily restrict shipping to some regions on our website whilst we restructure our website to automatically incorporate any additional taxes, duties or tariffs – our aim is to ensure that the website price is the landed price to the Customers door without any additional taxes payable.

    The future
    We are fully committed to continuing to serve our Customers across Ireland North and South – just as we have for the last 25 years.
