    Hi all,

Is there a distinct and noticeable difference on the bass response between these and the regular 3020 speakers. I bought a pair of 3020's off you last year (with an Onkyo TX8130 and an Onkyo CD player) but  swapped them out for a pair of LX2's to get a bit more thunk. I have that now but I do miss the detail and the soundstage that the Q Acoustics gave. Will I get that clarity but more bottom with the 3030i?

    Hi Lamneth1,

As the 3030is have a larger cabinet and better bass drivers you will get the same clarity as the 3020 but more low end in the mix as well!

They are a great speaker! They also have better cabinet bracing than the regular 3020 so there's a lot more control as well!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David

David, I know the set of stands for these are nearly €200.00. Can you recommend an alternative set that might suit?

    Hi Lamneth1,

The Q Acoustics stands are recommended as they have a thinner, curved base but you could get away with a pair of the Soundstyle Z2:
