Did anyone watch last night's game at all? Seems like a right shítshow!

Abomination from the Steelers, turned the ball over on short fields three times in the first half leading to three scores and they just couldn’t recover. Worst I have ever seen Rothlisberger play, albeit their offence as a whole is a mess, struggled to get first downs all night. They have no healthy linebackers left on defence either so the Bengals were able to run it out in the second half.

I only saw the score this morning and went WTF

I might stick on the highlights now.

As you said in the Steelers thread, it's the Browns division now to lose. Was thinking the same. They should put the Jets away and with the way you guys are playing, I can't see what you will put up to them.

It's probably for the best that you are put out of your misery as a WC rather than a Division winner.

Things can change quickly but yeah, it’s hard to muster any optimism for the Steelers right now, that offence is just so bad it’s crazy.

I'm still haunted by my post on here about how you guys were "under the radar".

They were always going to regress to the mean, I did not envisage a full scale meltdown however. Part of it is injuries as they are massively banged up in important positions but still no excuse for what we saw last night.

I didn’t and I’ve not watched the condensed version yet but from what I can gather outside of the scoreline the Steelers were less than impressive. It’s amazing that they started off undefeated and that one lose has set the dominos off and they need to find a way to stop it.

I watched the first half, and the steelers were second best in everything, the first quarter had 10 possessions, and Cincinnati were always on the front foot. Took Pittsburgh 6 drives to make a first down, and that was on a leap over the top on 4th and inches. Cincinnati were more physical and sharper, and moved the ball with the run. Pittsburgh didn't. The Mike Tomlin bull**** about steeler football was exposed again, its karma for running the clock out against the Ravens, and dancing around, when Baltimore were on the goal line in the final seconds of the first half. They have collapsed badly, and are completely exposed. Tomlin has words, but no answers. Steeler football now is 1 yard run, incomplete pass, sack punt.

There's regression and there's this collapse.

I just watched the highlights there. Christ.

Haha, yeah it was bad. Ben has to be concealing an injury, he was really good earlier in the season, tended to overthrow on deep passes but that was the only criticism you could have. His accuracy is dreadful now and there’s no zip on the ball. Age just does not explain what we have seen in recent weeks. Musical chairs on the OLine due to injuries not helping either.

Really wouldn't have expected the Seahawks/Washington game to be a tough call even a couple of weeks ago.
The Bears Vikings game is weird as well, seven weeks ago it was an obvious Bear win, then two weeks ago it was a Vikings gimme. Now I can't call it, but I think Bears offensive improvements recently are flattering due to crappy opposition.
Hard to call the 9ers/Cowboys game too. Like the Bears, do their fans even want to win at this point?

    12-4
    150-74 overall
