Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Bad, very bad from Ireland.

RTE should be ashamed to put the woman through that.

The last decent Irish entries were Ryan O'Shaughnessy in 2018.

And Molly Sterling, Playing with Numbers 2015, which somehow didn't make it out of the semi.

    God that was dreadful………

It’s like she was jilted over the delay at the start or something…

Interesting staging but her vocals sounded off, sounded like she swallowed a wasp, we won't get through

Did we just step into a strip club?

Yeah sorry folks but it was half successful imo. I've heard it twice now and can only make out half of the lyrics.

I was expecting so much more from the staging.

    Looked very bargain bucket
Yes. It wasn't one bit exciting and the end of it was just like, yeah wow here's the bits and pieces we used there

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

The 12 points neighbours, Cyprus and Greece, they send sexy women that are good dancers and singers.

That Molly sterling song...cracking..disgrace it didn't make the final.

A terrible song. Remember I thought that from the first time I heard it. No personality or hook to it at all, and her performance just highlighted it.

There's good breeding in Cyprus anyway

very average Ireland. Cyprus looks like they might qualify

Over the hills and far away, a million miles from LA

That was pretty shabby. The set looked like a knock off from a 90's RTE kids show. The song was like the aspirational type stuff the worst netflix kids animation shows pump out.

Cyprus entry is a blatant ripoff of Bad Romance with Miley Cyrus singing

If we're talking songs that in invoke the devil, it's no NIB by Black Sabbath.

    I'd happily watch Cyprus again.

The staging concept was brilliant, but I think whatever happened to cause the delay spooked her and the team a bit. Hopefully it's enough if a gimmick for us to get through and we have another chance in the final

Doesn't help that we have Lil' Miss Gaga straight after us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,322 ✭✭✭✭leahyl

Lesley is a nice girl but she hasn’t got the pipes for the song - if you’re singing at Eurovision you need to have a STRONG voice. She was straining her voice a lot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,495 ✭✭✭KatW4

It wasn't a bad song but the music was way too loud so it was impossible to make out what she was singing.

Staging was a nice idea. Funnily enough, her best singing was for the long note. Ending was quite poor.

I hope she gets through anyway!

Norway the fans love it...I hate it

Like a real badly dated boyband song a Louis Walsh act would churn out

Good song I thought, she is a looker as well which doesn't hurt her chances of getting through.
