Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello All.

I'm guessing some old friends from the various Big Brothers, I'm a Celeb and Love Island threads are posting in here. Hope all is well.

Ya, RTE cant afford to take the risk of a song winning, it was a typical forgetable Eurovision entry but it doesn't look like we are deliberatley trying not to win like when we sent Dustin.

Anyway, looking forward to the 2 semis and the final, light entertainment at its finest, especially with this thread.

Groningen.. I was asked to go there by a pig farmer's daughter on Erasmus here in 1998. I didn't go. Should have, she was nice.

Eurovision fans love that ****e. It'll go down very well, it's not to please to average joe soap tuning in for the craic.
Most of those who vote just tune in for the craic (well the final anyway)
the obsessives are a tiny amount out of 200 million or so viewers

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

    Very different. I like it.

I like the vibe of the song, her Voice is a bit average though.

Belgium should have won with Blanche and City Lights a few years back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,676 ✭✭✭✭ACitizenErased

This song has been ridiculously underrated throughout the process. Some tune.

Don't you hate when the cameraman decides to run laps during your performance.

    Belgium best by a mile.

Well wouldn't you if someone gave away your Johnny Cash t shirt?

    Michelle Collins!

I like this song, easily the best so far.

Why are they all sounding so vocally weak? Has something changed, not allowed use that autotune gizmo or something?

Belgium shows you don't have to send some one dancing in a sparkling bra to do well.
    Juries will like it too.

I loved the recording but her live vocals were a bit dodgy, it still did well though.
    She was so young.

I think a mic stand would have aided Belgium, aesthetically.

She looked a bit in the ha'penny place just standing there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,676 ✭✭✭✭ACitizenErased

    Juries will love that.

Israel's song is absolute ****e. Time for a bathroom break.

At least no boring little activists in the audience, I heard no boos for the Israelis.

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

Noticed it myself there all struggling not a patch on the woman Estonia sent in 2018. That effort scored criminally low.
