Must kill the rest of the country that they cannot string out an equally skillful and fit team to beat them.

If you think any Dub gives one shíte what the rest of the Country thinks you're sadly mistaken.

They were in the wilderness between 1995 and 2011 and now all the culchies are up in arms because they are dominant having put together the best squad of all time. LOL

I’ve seen and heard Dublin fans be very bothered that nobody really celebrates their wins.

Whats the point now in the football championship, Mayo did absolutely nothing wrong, lived with Dublin for 60 mins, exactly the same as the rest of the top tier teams. At the drawn game last year Kerry were visible knackered against 14. What really is the ****ing point of the football championship!

What did Mayo do wrong well crap 2and half

Credit to Mayo but in truth if Dublin had to win by ten plus they would have. The gap is ever widening. Last year posted that Dublin would win 80% of All Irelands until structures changed. Think it’s likely 90% now and it’s even difficult to see them losing one out of ten. Certain teams might be able to come somewhat close 15 v 15 but then Dublin bring on multiple all stars with 25 to go and it’s over.

Cluxton didn't continue on from his opening gambit. It should have continued. Thanks to AIG and their 1 million per year donation. Thanks to vodafone for their 6 million donation before that. Thanks to Aer Lingus, ballygowan, mitsubishi, energise sport, the gibson hotel.........................and all our lengthy list of sponsors. Thanks to the GAA and all taxpayers for paying for our home stadium Croke Park and last but not least, thanks to Bertie Ahern for the 30 million used to develop this squad.

    Football is a snooze fest

    You mean handball.

I mean the fact you get a fcukign mark for catching a simple ball from 20 or 30 yards away tells you all you need to know. Wow...what a skill!

Casino Royale is on next anyway. That's the best of the new Bonds.

And if you think the last six All Ireland's mean anything to anyone outside of Dublin then you're sadly mistaken too. An asterisk next to each one of them as far as the other 31 counties are concerned.

    Only from the whingers.

15 men each on the pitch. Either put up or shut up, Mayo Man.

    Evening girls.

Con O’Callaghan should go to hurling now. Go out and prove you’re the best in the country and try win Dublin a hurling All-Ireland.

Even Cluxton is mortified to be a participant in such a charade.

This "end of football" talk gets tiresome. What were ye expecting?

This wasn't Kerry or Donegal or Mayo 2016 they were playing. They were playing a team relegated from D1 who got hammered by Dublin last year and ended up in a final by accident and bad ref decisions. Blame 2020. Kerry showed last year they weren't far away

I'd say Roddy Collins could even manage this team to 10 in a row

Missus brown could do the job in the current clown car situation that the gaa has brought about

    Yawn. Did Dublin win again?

The lack of objectivity from the commentators was the worse I've ever seen. Their tone when Dublin scored to when Mayo scored was sickening, they should be ashamed. Dublin were lucky to be a few points ahead at the end, it it were close the officials would defiantly found a way to get Mayo over the line. Mayo players falling over and getting free kicks, Mayo player boxed a Dublin player in the back of the head near the end when he was on the ground "it's not as bad as it looks " the commentator says.

    How do you know that?
    Or are you spoofing?

I’d have some respect for the dubs if they admitted publicly that the whole championship is a farce now due to the financial doping

The true blue who was in Parnell Park and below in Tralee and sold tickets, I call them the Ronny Drew generation, they are ashamed of what is happening and whilst they'll celebrate tonight they would not begrudge Mayo. They are in the minority now replaced by the prawn sandwich brigade, the same people who will hop on anything successful, most are new Liverpool fans at the moment but have City shirts just incase.

Those two runs that Davey Byrne made in the last five minutes were incredible. Phenomenal stuff.

Reading off a sheet. Like listening to a child reading out in class.

He’s just won his 8th all Ireland medal, I doubt he’s slightly concerned by your critique of his speech...

    He’s a fûcking brilliant dude. :)

The only thing sadder than watching Dublin win is listening to all the pathetic crying every year

He simply must know that Jim gavin admitted it in private but it’s up to him as “captain” to say it openly

There'll be an asterisk beside this win, Sligo were in with a shout until Covid.

Forget about 2002, this is their real missed oppurtunity.

My clubs second team won a Junior B league last year and there was more excitement at the final whistle that day

Absolute crap, what's the asterisk ?, I'm not from Dublin, but, they're a great team, Mayo had their chances over the years but bottled it everytime, Kerry were also close, can't stand all the whining about the Dublin dominance, it's time for the other teams to step up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,373 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

    Brings the split closer.

The split would result in the two teams with the largest population bases

You want to watch a North Dublin vs South Dublin AI final?

Jim Gavin probably hoping the Dubs would lose today to make him look good.

Sure now Farrell has done the job at a canter, doesn't look great for Gavin does it?

Bottled it each and every time?

Give your head a wobble will you

If they got the same help as Dublin did to win the oul match they would be able to do as you request.
