Blacklist forums?

I'm not sure if this is even possible but can an user blacklist forums so none of the threads in that forum show up on the front page etc.? It would be handy to be able to do this in order to streamline what an user sees. I could of course go the whitelist route and set all other sites to be followed and just stick to My…
