Try’s to do the math if the Cards and Bears both finish 8-8 who gets the last playoff spot......

The bears know the path to the playoffs now. Win out and it’s their spot.

    Bears have the tie breaker

They never played the cards this season?

In which case it comes down to the teams conference record, which the Cards can at best match now, after that it goes down to record against common opponents (teams both have played this year).

Those teams this year are the Rams, Panthers, Giants and Lions.

The Bears are 3-2 against the Rams, Panthers, Giants and Lions whereas the Cards are only 1-3, and 2-3 at best if they beat the Rams next week so the Bears win the tiebreaker.

All of that is assuming the Bears win obviously, which isn't a given against anyone. Even the Lions beat us..

Ah yes, I was thinking it came down to divisional record

Kingsbury needs to be fired. He's beyond incompetent and the decision making on that final drive sums it up.

Anyone employing VJ needs their walking papers.

Insane finish in Vegas. Raiders get a weak PI call to pick up a free 49 yards and kick a FG to go up 2 with 19 seconds left. They could have scored a TD but Jacobs slid at the 1 yard line to waste time instead.

Fitzmagic comes on. First play is a blown coverage and he throws it deep down the sideline while having his facemask held. The blown coverage + facemask penalty gives them a 44 yard FG attempt and they win it by 1. :D

That was truly special from the Raiders, the only shame was Gruden having a mask on so we couldn’t see all the facials expressions :D

Haskins starting and McLaurin out. You'd have to fancy WFT to not win today which opens the door to the other NFC East teams.

Big game for the Bears today against Jacksonville. They've been in good form recently but the one concern is our depth at CB with Skrine and Jaylon Johnson both inactive.

If we lose against a team whose city mayor is celebrating that they're on the road to the number one pick, playoffs were never a good idea to begin with.

That Ravens opening drive is ominous

    Giants couldn't get near them

    Ravens 7-0

I have had a feeling all week that the Jags would do the Bears. Just one of those.

Still hadn't the balls to pick them though! :)

Jags defense looked very poor on that drive anyway.

Jimmy Graham having his best season since 2017 was completely unexpected.

So were the teams the Steelers played for the first part of the season that bad or did the record seriously flatter the Steelers because since they lost they don’t look like they could win a raffle.

It was the right call but the jags defender had the end line to help him.

The jets have decided they don’t won’t to tank to Trevor it seems.

They are absolutely ravaged by injuries on both sides of the ball, including Ben who id bet any money is playing hurt. 11-0 certainly flattered them but they are not anywhere near as bad as they are showing right now. I had them as an 11-5 or 12-4 team at the start of the season and I think that is about what they are if they had a normal level of injury.

Trending in entirely the wrong direction for December though, one and done in the playoffs most likely.

Nice TD catch by the jags and it’s tied game and the jets are two scores up on the Cleveland browns. The Trevor Lawrence race may go to the final week.

The falcons take the lead against a scoreless chiefs team late in the first half. I know we had some amazing “witching hours” on red zone but we may have an all timer this week.

That’s roughing the passer? Good grief

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,299 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

That was an awful roughing the passer call against the jets.

Sadly the jags seem to have made the same decision.

Sadly the jags seem to have made the same decision.

Trust Chuck Pagano to make Mike Glennon look half decent. He's less mobile than Foles with a poor offensive line and he doesn't even blitz him.

Aw come on trubisky why did you force that throw?

Same reason he got benched. He makes rookie mistakes in year 4.

    Glennon :pac:

Roquan fumbles on the INT return and hurts himself. Good lord.

    That is atrocious from Mitch.

You're not playing KC. There is no need to force things.

We're winning, despite our best efforts.
