I know was generally scorned in some of the replies above, but they do round here :)

Same here. Friends and relatives ( not immediate family ) dig the grave. A ahem, dying tradition. Now the undertaker and a digger

Brian Boru died not far from Glasnevin but he was buried in Armagh instead. The evidence suggests there was mighty drinking at his funeral.

Does the price include breakfast, and if so is that bacon, egg, sausage, black and white pudding, bit of liver, a chop, tomato, mushrooms, beans, hash brown, Ulster farl, and brown bread and toast with marmalade, together with a pot of tay,

or is it just a coffee and a bun?
    :eek::eek::eek:

    For breakfast?????

On a serious note, 20 years ago or so I twice encountered a liver option on the breakfast menu, once in the Highland Hotel, Glenties and once in a guesthouse in Lisdoonvarna that had about 20 choices on the breakfast menu.

It seems to more of an Ulster thing

I've often had liver with breakfast. Though not in about 30 years

    Morning folks

Mrs G&R and myself have a seven week old, we're not at weaning stage yet but someone gave us a baby meal planner book.

How many grams of butternut squash is in one portion for a baby just starting on solids?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,243 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

Is a portion size what starts on the plate, or what goes into their mouth? :D

I was going to say "from the sublime to the ridiculous" but they are all ridiculous!

That was a close shave with the grave diggers. People worked harder back then, so I thought they wouldn't be as many. Thanks Bubbly you really saved my behind.
Twice in a row I have almost exited now. I believe my time ain't long.

I was thinking same as you plus the popukation wasn't as high. Been very wrong a few times myself.

I was thinking that grave digger job would be great. They probably have time to have a little 5-a-side tourny or a cards.

Yeah I thought the same, I also thought the family and friends would be digging the grave also in a lot of cases, so went low.

As for today, as someone who has no kids, I am looking at my niece who is 7 months old and a monster... she looks like she could easily eat a whole butternut squash herself. I have absolutely no frame of reference!

Much does a whole butternut squash weight?

Knife awkward to use better to give them the electric one easier to slice with

Its a major let-off for Khal, who was a mere four times the answer of 60g which Zaph got spot on
