I was just gonna say 50 then decided I'd go a bit above incase 50 was the lowest and I thought surely someone else would go for it.

    Ummm what maths?
    1,439 units
    Current price 17.53c
    1,439 * 17.53 = €250 (ish)
Divide by five, my guess at inflation = €50
Multiply by 0.8 to get it into punts = £40 :)

I went my bill is 200. Must be less than that. What's less than 200. Ummm. Punts are about the same.....be grand

I originally submitted 11 but thought, gosh stuff was expensive back then salaries were no.....it was probably more.

    Morning

In 1991 Frank Dunlop paid £112,000 in order to get the lands where Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is build rezoned.

This money was paid to bribe Dublin City councillors, how many did it buy him?

So the correct answer was 15, I realised at about 6pm that I should have said that Dunlop claimed he bribed 15 councillors, hes and ex-fianna fail bag man though, friends with Bertie Ahearn, who worked for land developers so we can take his word right? RIGHT??
I decided that ye all had the same info and let it roll

So Molly, LoughC and Trigger are all at the bottom. I've given LoughC his wish and f**ked them all out

Quiz aside for a moment, that's really shocking

There was another 4 Councillors charged with accepting bribes in another rezoning, which i think I've got mixed up (Carrickmines) The Mahon (previously Flood) Tribunal details most of it in their papers, its a shocking read tbf

One of them was a son of a former Taoiseach, no less!

I mixed up the tribunals too.... I'd imagine there isn't a major site in Dublin that hasn't had some shady dealings going on at some level.
