    Hi John & Team,

I want to re-purpose the Philips 65OLED804 I got from you this time last year to another part of the house and it leaves me with a gap that needs to be filled.:D

Usage is streaming and 4K BlueRay viewing only.
No interest in 8K or Gaming.

Models I have in mind are...

    Panasonic TX-65HZ2000B
    Sony KD77AG9
    LG OLED77CX6LA / OLED77GX6LA

    Samsung QE85Q80T
    Samsung QE75Q95T

The 65OLED804 has been okay. I'm tempted by the larger sized OLED or QLED but my research and online reviews seem to suggest the Panasonic HZ2000 to be the better choice, but at 2x the price of the current Philips 65OLED805, I doubt it's twice as good.
I'd appreciate your advice as always regarding your opinion of the picture quality of the models I've chosen? and OLED v QLED question?.

    Thanks

    Eoin

Good to hear from you Eoin Kavanagh 64!

I would definitely stick with the OLED over the QLED for picture quality, especially at that size. The QLEDs still use a backlight and the OLEDs give much better colour and contrast.

If you like the look of the larger sizes you can't go wrong with the LGs. The CX and GX have the same processors so will give the same picture quality but the GX is designed for wall mounting and has a slightly better chassis design for it's gallery mode!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David
