Maddison not even on the bench. Ah well, looks like Soucek is finally going to get a run out for me :p

Like when they don't start and not even benched.

And at least I ain't looking at fodder on my bench after WCing.

    Mitchell starts, nice one

I made a mistake in that team I’ve started McCarthy.

Yeah benched Bamford but I think wba have improved hugely and I’ve seen Leeds the last couple of games and haven’t been too impressed with him. So it’s a calculated call also influenced with Souceks last two hauls laughing at me from the bench.

    Also last 5 gw points-
    Soucek 31
    Bamford 29

I would be more inclined to bench DCL based on form - think he has 21 points in the last 5 - and only has one goal in the last 6 games. Bamford on penalties increases his value.

People still own him? A player who didn't feature in 8 GWs?

Yep he's been my third sub, haven't ever needed my third sub so grand to have him there for 4m and not waste a transfer.

A very lonely Vardy owner here who just sold Mitchell to Johnson. At least Riedewald starts to get me some appearance points :o

Vardy more than capable of coming off the bench and scoring, I wouldn't lose hope yet!

I have a fuzzy feeling that DCL will get returns against city so I didn’t consider taking him out in the 3 minutes I had when I checked my team before the deadline :)
I had a whopping 26 points on the bench last gw with Souceks 10 first sub so that could well happen again with Bamford etc. I enjoy having a good bench to choose from around xmas though.

We all know what happened a big player came off the bench against Palace!

First half of season WC team ends as:

    McCarthy (Johnstone)
    Robertson, Chilwell, Justin, KWP, Dallas
    Salah, Son, Fernandes, Soucek (Anguissa)
    Vardy, Adams, Bamford

I expected the Vardy benching and for at least Chilwell to be benched but the moves were made with the longer term in mind and I don’t like playing a WC being committed to future transfers - there are too many variables.

    Transfer banked

    Martinez
    Robertson, Cancelo, Dias, C. Taylor
    Salah (c), Bruno, Son, Grealish
    Adams, Bamford

    Soucek, KWP, DCL

    BBC:

James Tomkins clups Luke Thomas in the box when he's played in by Harvey Barnes.

Iheanacho heads over from about two yards.

Iheanacho missing good opportunities, Leicester creating. This is set up for a Vardy Party.

    Interesting stat:

10 - Leicester City have been awarded their 10th penalty in their 16th game of the season, the earliest a team has been awarded as many penalties in a Premier League campaign, surpassing Blackburn's 25 games in 1994-95. Spotted.

Banked the transfer after coming very close to getting rid of KDB and/or Grealish for various different combinations of Son, Maddison and others.

    Martinez

    Robertson | Taylor | Dias | Coufal

    KDB | Grealish | Salah (C) | Bruno

    Bamford | DCL

Subs: Wellbeck | Anguissa | Mitchell

Hoping that Grealish, DCL and KDB reward my patience, loyalty and understanding

This is a dreadful game. Bar the saved penalty, there's been very little goalmouth action. 0-0 all over it.

More City players testing positive apparently. Haven't heard of this journalist before though.

I'd imagine Vardy might appear second half, wouldn't rule out a goal in this game
