Good stuff. I spaced on it.
24 points with hendrick, TAA, son & capt. Harry to go. So looking good!

I don't think Jeff would have himself in his team if you paid him!

Hendrick and Wilson flagged as doubtful tonight anyway

I'm probably out of the cup at the first hurdle!

This week has been a real screw up completely. Was making good grounds in my MLs, and 4 green arrows in the last 5 weeks overall.

This is bound to happen to round off an awful gameweek and year.

If this happens then I’m done, never playing again

Isn't Salah their first choice penalty taker even if Milner is playing?

Nope, Milner is ahead of salah, rightly so as he is an excellent penalty taker

I don't see Salah giving up a penalty if they get one

Been over a Yr since milner took one in league?

Salah took and scored a penalty already this season while Milner was on the pitch, albeit in the CL.

Well he's been on the pitch twice before and let Salah taken in, so i'd be happy enough that he's going to be still on them - Salah.

How can they be preparing to play 4 hours before the match if they don't have test results - are they not all self-isolating - or do those rules not apply to footballers?

the PL have made a balls of this. IMO during this pandemic they should be testing all players all say a Tuesday, and all players self isolate until results, and then if negative they meet up with the team and all stay in one place, and have all games played on a Saturday and if you must some on a Sunday. This staging them over 4 days for TV companies, and lads having tests on random days in causing all sorts of issues.

On one hand, you have wolves players banned from going to a supermarket, and on the other you have all the Brazilian lads meeting up in a hotel in London for a night over xmas (source: Fitz*) and the majority of them now testing positive or inexplicable missing games this week.

I would say it has nothing to do with 'fpl Gods', but the decision of the relevant UK authorities and the FA assessing the amount of danger posed to the participants?

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Yeah well obviously. I was being tongue in cheek.

You could do that, but it would trigger a sizeable refund to the TV companies. Are the teams willing to send that money back (given that they probably spent it already)?

For example Sky have paid maybe £150M for 20 games in the Monday 8PM slot, and have built this up as their 'in-depth discussion night'. Telling them these games must be played instead at say 11.30am on a Sunday, or clashing with other televised fixtures, would reduce their value and Sky would be entitled to get a large percentage of their money back. You can bet that a) the contract is absolutely concrete on Sky's side for this and b) Sky won't be willing to take the financial hit.
