Sorry for being pedantic but it was the linesman that called offside, not VAR.

    McGinn hits the bar.

The linesman flag went up, but VAR checked it, so at what stage would you say the linesman calls it - if the linesman calls it - the whistle should go straight away and play stopped, but they wait and see what happens and the check it on VAR.

If for instance the ref blew before ball went in the net, and it turns out not to be offside, the goal wouldn't stand.

To me, the original on field call was offside. And it stayed that way, so the linesman call was final.

If the linesman had not called it and VAR overruled his decision and ruled out the goal, I would say that it was a VAR decision.

If he can be more clinical would be the perfect player works like a dog.

    Timo blazes over.

    From a potential Chilwell assist.

Owning Grealish is becoming a bit of a pain

Chilwell so close to getting the winner. Beauty of a volley.

Damn Chilwell that goal would've been worth 9 points.

Probably soon time to get rid anyway. No double fixture in the DGW and a tough run of fixtures also.

Good stuff, not too much damage done there. Will take Martinez 3 points and run.

    6 from 2.

What a dull day that turned out to be.

Fingers crossed I have enough on the bench for 9 to play.

He finishes with 1 assist but easily could have had a further two and a goal himself.

Why do people constantly say this - just look at his returns this season:

    3
    8
    24
    3
    1
    15
    6
    1
    10
    2
    3
    10
    2
    2

Like he hauls on average every third game - even if he blanks the next game - he still running good.

And a possible price drop tonight also

All I ask is he gets returns in every game

    Big day tomorrow.

    8 from 3 (Justin, Chilwell & Vardy).

Not a great start but this is a GW just to keep your head above water if possible.

Quite enjoyed the pandemonium today - who knows what tomorrow might bring!

    2 from 4 :o

Cresswell & Dallas to come off the bench for Zouma & Dias (hopefully)

Gabriel tested positive for Covid. Seems inevitable that more Arsenal players will have it
