    Hi all,

I'm looking to replace my previous PC from 2009 which has finally packed up after 11 years. I had looked on this forum a few months back and the advise at the time was to wait until the new hardware came out in a month or so but I see that hasn't really changed yet. However because my machine is now gone completely I would rather buy now rather than keep waiting. It doesn't necessarily need to be very high spec but I would be looking for a decent spec prebuilt machine as don't really want to build it myself.

    1. What is your budget? I'm fairly open on budget but I guess somewhere between 1k to 2k which I realise is a very wide range. Happy to pay for good value that will last me a few years.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/3D Modelling/HTPC/Internet] Internet browsing and some gaming. Whatever I buy now will be a huge upgrade so will be nice to be able to play some newer games.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No] Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] (If possible state brand and model of the parts to ensure compatibility) Will likely reuse a few old HDDs as additional storage if compatible but not a priority.

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No] No (Although I am willing to upgrade if current monitor would be a blocker.

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] [Yes/No] Current monitor is a 21" Benq - GW2270-T

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No] No

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

    9. When are you purchasing? [In x days] Immediately if I can find a decent spec.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? N/A, looking to buy full system pre-built.

I bought from hardwareverand last time around but I saw in a recent thread that they are gone out of business now.

Is the following system from Komplett any good?
    Paradigit Gaming Extreme R7
Decent value for 1400 with an nVidia GeForce RTX2060 6 GB?

1799 for PC SPECIALIST Vortex ST-S Gaming PC - Intel® Core™ i7, RTX 3070, 2 TB HDD & 512 GB SSD. Higher spec machine, is this very over-priced for what you get?

Would really appreciate any advise as there are just so many options out there now I'm really not sure what direction to go in.
