Just before the game starts I have to say while not as good as faith hills version I love Carrie Underwood’s version and given the fact she do great covers of GNR songs only makes me like her even more.

Is it weird that it’s nearly 1:30am and I’m sitting in my kitchen wearing an eagles hoodie or is that just what a fan does ?

This will be weird for Giants fans, being forced to shout for the Eagles.

It's only weird if you're wearing pants

Best not to ask, absolutely ridiculous. Of course you need to take a timeout when the other team is in disarray!

I generally like fangio and the d, but goddamn I don't think I've ever seen them close out a game when they've had a chance. Great (even good) defenses do that.

There have been so many games this season where time management has been so clearly off the wall.

    I miss the old days.

TD Washington. The eagles secondary is a bomb site.

FG Washington so 10-0 near end of 1st quarter.

I'm willing to call this game a lot earlier than normal.

Despite picking the Football Team I need an Eagles win or a Tie to win my pick'em league. Having to rely on the Iggles is not good for the soul.

    TD eagles from Jalen hurts.

Nice drive by the Eagles. Hurts is a really good rusher.

Gase, unsurprisingly fired by the Jets

    I'll shaddap.

Complete change in the league! WHOOP!

TD eagles Jalen hurts again and JJAW showed a bit of talent.

Alex singleton has been a bright spot for a disappointing season for the eagles.

HT and not as bad as I was expecting. Eagles in the hunt.

    1) no you didn’t stutter RDS.

    2) I’m aware it’s Sunday(it’s actually Monday where I am)

Ffs Doug. You're killing me here. Why would you not take that FG.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,085 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

Nate Sudfeld going into the game Now.

    FU Doug!

Happy for Alex Smith, Ron Rivera and pretty much everybody in Washington. They've had a tough year with Rivera fighting cancer in the middle of covid, Alex Smith making his comeback and then fighting back from new injuries and if course the loss of their nickname.
I think they should change it to the Conquerors. There's been a lot of tough battles won by some of them.

I needed a tie in regulation or an eagles win to win my league and I got screwed by the Eagles.

The absolute state of that by Philly in that second half!

Glad it's at least the best team in the NFC Dumpster Fire that's facing Brady.

So yeah that happened. The meetings starting on Tuesday will be fun. I’m not bothered if Doug Peterson comes back or not.

Their approach to the 4th quarter points to him already knowing he was coming back.

Draft focused fans will be all for his decision but skipping over the pointless competition or what 'the right thing to do' was I don't know how a coach can maintain the respect of his team after pulling something like that. You cant go into a locker room and talk about building a winning culture and telling players not to quit and then the coach quit when it suits him for a draft pick.
