My kids got two cheques as christmas gifts, both drawn on a Bank of Ireland account.

They don't have bank accounts that accept cheques, is it possible for them to be lodged in my BOI account? I can bring the kids to a bank branch, and I am a long-standing BOI customer.

    Hi There,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

So long as the cheques have not been crossed or state 'Account Payee only', you should be able to lodge these into your account at your local branch with photo ID.

    Thanks, Aisling
