opportunity for the black community to air their grievances.
it can't be easy being an ethnic minority.

Imagine living in a country where everything is handed to with little or no effort in return and when anyone says boo to you they automatically label anyone as a racist .

Maybe the majority of the country could have their grievances aired by our public representatives

It's the same all over Europe. We're just catching up with Sweden and France etc

A real evil twisted breed of European politician has been ruinning our countries for decades.

The likes of this fella should be held to account when it inevitably goes t!ts up.. Even an incident in the US can spark trouble over here..

    RTE 6 o clock news

    Unbelievable

    What was on it?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 844 ✭✭✭CrazyFather1

    I was just wondering. Thanks.

From reports I heard he was walking around while they tried to calm him down, a few videos as well showing him walking around a green while a Garda car travelled behind at a distance.

After the attack it was over 2 hours before he was shot. It wasn't as if he ran home and then the Garda shot him.

Body cams would prevent this though.

Isn't it amazing that one of the "conditions" of the BLM movement in the States is the removal of body cams on police officers. Want to have a guess on why they want them removed?

Imagine if there was no footage of this thug before he was shot, as he ran amok on the streets causing havoc and strife on innocent people's lives. It is deplorable that some people on here are trying to almost criminalise the Gardai for saving lives.

There were over 100 people at the "justice" protest march this afternoon outside the Blanchardstown Garda station. RTE reported "other incidences" but not on the racial abuse by blacks on innocent members of the public, with their only crime being the white colour of their skin.

Do these protestors not have to follow the same Covid rules as the rest of us, or is there a special dispensation due to their "cause"? Maybe that it part of the problem with that section of the community.

"He wouldn't hurt a fly" says protestor outside Blanchardstown Garda station.

To be fair it would be remarkably difficult to harm a fly with a knife. A human a lot more likely to get hurt.

    What was on it?

Terrible reporting, totally one sided and no information.

More or less the guy was walking around picking flowers and the big bad Garda for no reason shot him

All the videos floating around of scum attacking passerbys and innocent people.

This is what you get for entertaining BLM during the summer. This is exactly what you get.

RTE pussyfooting around this story on the Six One News. It's a joke, I'm sure a lot of us have seen the disgraceful protests on social media. Saying "this is a sensitive issue". Let's call a spade a spade.

Disgraceful reporting. Your license fee at work folks!

And they recently had ads about how the truth matters, joke of an organisation, it's corrupted from the top down with the ethnic cleansing of certain news stories, clearly there's an agenda. I'd expect them to report the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre protest at 9.35 tonight so it doesn't feature on the 9 O'Clock news.

Wasn't it the Healy Rae kids who battered some poor tourist because he was ahead of them in the chip shop?
Yeah a british tourist in a chip shop

    I mean

And the rest of it ...the whole circus of the healy rae's

Screaming in the dail...they do nothing for the area.

Woman on the RTE News saying George wouldn’t hurt a fly...maybe not, but we know where he stood on hurting humans.

Disgraceful biased reporting by RTE. Clearly trying to blame the Guards and whip up anger over their shooting of this individual. I don't think they even mentioned that he had a knife and definitely didn't mention his earlier armed robbery. I'll be lodging a complaint with the Broadcasting regulator on this and hope others join me

Did they show the Spar shop with customers trapped in side and the racist ' white bastards ' shout ?

    No I'd imagine

Not a thing.. Gardai appealing for information, interview with 2 people - one saying he wouldn't hurt a fly, the othersaying they'll stay until justice is served.

Nothing about agressively marching and shouting through the SC, attacking some lad outside one of the shops, or a large crowd attacking someone at a petrol station.

If there was ever a question as to whether RTE is fit for purpose, this highlights the answer perfectly.

RTE is left wing, woke central these days. Plus they love misery porn so they love the George the victim angle.

I wonder will The Late Late Show have a tribute show for him, Ryan loves a lot of misery porn.

It's quite surreal seeing videos of what went on in Blanch today and no mention of it in the media.

I mean if this was in Donnybrook would it be on the news.

I haven't seen any more videos online so I presume they are gone home. Hopefully.

I know its hard to read an objective post when you're in sports-politics mode.

Thats what it is though. Just an observation of the facts. Probably an alien concept to some.

I could have sworn you were politely told to exit the scene earlier?

You can be absolutely guaranteed that if a group of white nationalists had been acting like these clowns today it would be wall to wall coverage with eye witness reports to beat the band.

I’m talking about the two idiots elected to the Dail. Although I remember that fool went to court for his actions. Don’t remember any of them inciting hatred online towards AGS the Lord Mayor of Dublin has.

    15 minute walk.

A lot of garda cheerleaders here, but people need to understand that when it comes to mental health issues, the gardai are utterly inept and it is only in the last few months that they have employed someone to actually devise an education strategy to give a basic level of understanding to gardai.

Whilst I won't say this was murder, it certainly is a disgusting road the gardai have gone down and I sincerely hope gsoc do a proper investigation, but I doubt it.

It's one reason why I got shot of my telly and my TV licence years ago and I'll be damned if I will pay one fcuking cent to keep that shower afloat when they try the new tax on devices.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Very true. I have to say I wouldn't be crying if some extreme right wingers took a few iron bars to the group outside the Spar shop today. Scum fighting scum, let them kill each other off.

    We're on a slippery slope.

Absolutely, yes - they are supposed to be trained to deal with circumstances like this, though - and are supposed to be equipped/trained to deal with such attacks in a non-lethal way - so when we are talking about whether or not lethal force is justified, we have to distinguish between police (who are supposed to be properly equipped/trained) and civilians - as that greatly affects whether or not it is justified.

They are trained and they dealt with it correctly.

They used verbal commands, they then used non lethal options and only then resorted to lethal force after all else failed.

Your other posts here make it pretty obvious you speak with zero training, knowledge or experience in this or any relevant field.

Away with peddling that rubbish. He had already tried to kill one person and was attempting the same with them.

Mental health - the catch all excuse for absolutely anything in the minds of some.
