Three Prepay Limit

    Lads, my broadband died the other day, and they arent back in the office until monday , so im on my 3 sim in a 4G router

    The question , i remember when i got the sim there was a 20G limit. I remember hearing that Three have removed the limit , not sure if that applies here. Do Three cut you off when you reach the limit?

    No broadband in a lockdown no good :P

    Three PAYG phone SIM data is unlimited, it's a few years since it was 20GB, even back then the limit wasn't enforced.

    I've had a 3 pay sim since 2011 and it always had All You Can Eat Data with no cap. It always warned if you affected others' use of the service they could take action, but I routinely downloaded over a TB of data every month and never heard a thing.

    I think they used to apply throttling to popular websites. So when you ran a speedtest the speeds were good. But when you accessed sites like YouTube the speed was throttled. Did you ever find that?

    It never happened. I used the hotspot on my phone and had my PC tethered to it. I was torrenting 24/7 and using my PC for everything, I rarely watched TV because I just used my PC for everything.
