Farrell roaring at Ralston to go wide. Farrell had the inside man covered.

I actually watched it back and it was a Connacht hand.

This will probably be yet another game where connacht come away feeling they left so many points behind them.

Multiple missed tackles at crucial moments and Carty having a shocker laid the foundation for an uphill struggle.

He wasn't held you clown of a ref.

But he slipped off the tackle so Ralston had to commit.

    What a kick by porch

    Willemse is such dislikeable character.

    Wonderful kick from Porch

Mon lads. Great boot from Porch.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,466 ✭✭✭✭cson

    Get in.

Unreal to still be in with a chance after all the errors and awful reffing.

Farrell has been outstanding for ye lads.

    Brilliant team try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,466 ✭✭✭✭cson

    Farrells had a monster game.

Surely porch was taking in the air by williamse again there......

Leads to a shocking knock on by Daly this time under no pressure

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭SqueakyKneecap

Was there not a clear enough knock on before they grounded that?

What a sickening way for Connacht to lose this match. I think the Stormers got away with a few yellow card offences. They knew what they were at.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,444 ✭✭✭kuang1

Yeah connacht bench made zero impact, that was a terrible unforced error by Daly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,340 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

If Connacht made just a few less basic errors they were well in this game with a chance to win it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,466 ✭✭✭✭cson

That looked very forward as well.

Must be some new NFL type compromise rules you're allowed play in the SH we weren't made aware of.

The SA Teams have given the URC League a great boost.

The 47,000 attendance will be alot more than in the Aviva later.

Scoreline flatters stormers IMO. Connacht will look back at that game and rue all the mistakes could easily have won it.

A few questionable calls today but overall the better team won.

Very proud of the lads after the start we had this season but we turned it around. Overall it’s been a great year a urc semi final and European cup rugby next season. Hopefully Pete can carry on the great work Andy has done. Connacht are truly in a great spot going into next season.

    Connacht Abú

Tbh i am disappointed, some basic errors that cost us dearly. Having said that, being in the semi, and in with a shout up to the last minute, with HC qualification secured, it has been a great year.

Not sure about that. This wasn't like last week where they were dropping balls just shy of the try line. Kicks going dead, silly knock ons- they gave up a lot of attacking opportunity's, but their attack didn't click for a lot of the game. Carty had a nightmare.

    Great season nonetheless.

There's the makings of a very good team there, definitely need to level up at the half backs though, been holding us back for a while now.

Genuinely really disappointed for Connacht, they had tough route to try get to the final and today in that pitch it was too much for them.

Disappointed for ye lads, good performance today but some costly mistakes and Stormers being clinical at the right times pushed the game beyond reach.

As a Leinster fan, if we progress today I'd rather face Stormers in the final than Connacht given how things went the last time.

Should have more beef in the pack next season with Joyce and Jansen. First choice front row is very solid but it usually creaks with a couple changes there.

Not sure what they do at 10? Harry Byrne makes a lot of sense but he strikes me as someone who would be happy to stay at Leinster at take his chances.

If you told us all in December we'd be qualifying for the pool stages of the Heineken Cup and getting to a URC semi-final there's no way you would've believed it. Some turnaround in fairness and an excellent note for the likes of Friendy and Marmion to leave on.

Imagine Joey playing at 15 for them as well. That could be class.
