Should have put it in the corner and avoided being isolated

Game was practically over there when Thornbury went off his feet at that ruck. Big mistake.

Penalty was against McNulty for not releasing.

    Who cares?.

Talk about inexperience. He was pretty much without fail going to be isolated there. There was only time for one phase so he should have turned around and ran back if anything.

And then they get in under the posts... ffs.

Didnt score in the half or make use of the wind so cant complain.

Regardless of the table I think we've been so poor this year for the most part.

Didn't think it was thornbury. Might have missed it though

Pretty sure it was Papali'i who was penalised.

Daly kicking it with a little more than a minute to play, madness

    Well ****.

Edinburgh do not deserve this but Connacht can only blame themselves.

Was that not for holding on?

Thornbury gave away one in the Edinburgh half for off feet, then Papali'i gave one for holding on which led to the try

    Absolute madness from Connacht.

Might have been holding on against McNulty although I think he could have pinged Thornbury as well if he wanted to.

Gave Edinburgh two chances to get from their own 22 all the way to 5 metres from the Connacht corner flag.

Really threw that away. Not that it changes much this season.

Edinburgh were muck. An absolute gift of a win.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,965 ✭✭✭connachta

We did it on absolute purpose to bother our old rivals Cardiff :P

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,965 ✭✭✭connachta

I saw more good than bad.

Yes McNulty should have kicked but otherwise he looked absolutely in the level
    Prendergast is ready, Murray too.
O'Donnell is a good signing. We need more physicality, again but the future is nice

ring the changes again for Scarlets!

So many terrible decisions in the last 10 mins or so. Some poor kicking, awful decision to try and play their way out from their line, going into contact with no support when a grubber would have won it, poor discipline and then the defensive line so close to the maul bring completely disorganised and near on non-existent. Almost like Ireland vs Wales, you can potentially survive some of those, but there's only so many.

How many times have we been talking about woeful game management this season.... McNulty gets a pass but Blade and Daly should be absolutely F***** out of it for kicking possession away in the last few minutes. Blade especially was madness well inside their half. The penalties as well. Is that 6 losses in Galway this season?

Just need one or two leaders to guide this team during the game. The effort is there but we tend to have a brain freeze when the pressure comes on.

3 seconds to go on the clock when they conceded that first penalty. Thank god they weren’t badly in need of the points tonight. Then again they would probably have picked a slightly different team in the first place.
