    Hi All
Wer'e considering removing the open fire and fireback and replacing them with a stove.
We've an 18" fireback in the space atm and would like to get the max amount of heat out of the stove.
Would a freestanding or insert be best? Insert might be tricky as the fireplace was a custom stone job, so the edges of the space are not straight.
We've been told Stanley are the best to go for but I just though I'd ask here in case it's not the case. It's not a boiler stove we're looking for BTW
    Can supply pics if needed
    Any advice would be appreciated

    Regards

    HB
