    Manual says...

    1. Select Menu > Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, and switch the hotspot on.
    2. Select Set up Wi-Fi hotspot.
    3. Enter the details and select Save.

Would you have a link to that?

    From here...
    https://xphone24.com/nokia-3310-4g-manual.php

    That's for the 4G version.

    Here's the Nokia manuals page...
    https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_ie/support/user-guides

...the 4G version is not listed so maybe it's not available here. Not sure whether hotpsot is available on the 3G version.

    Which version have you got?

I am trying to sort something out for my father, he has a new 3310 but it could be the 3g model. I gave him an old tablet I don't use hoping to let him use hotspot as they don't have bb.

Is there another way as I can't see him getting bb for a bit of browsing?

A spare smartphone with hotspot function (they all have it) if you have one, or else get a SIM free smartphone in Argos...whatever the cheapest one is.

The 3G version of 3310 probably doesn't have hotspot.
