Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Slow skyq remote response

    Hi,

I have SkyQ but given the wiring available in the house we had to put a modulator in place as well.

When using Sky there is a very obvious delay and sometimes no response from a button press. It has been like this since getting SkyQ but I believe the modulator is more likely to be the bottleneck because I have gone through a series of troubleshooting steps with Sky already (resetting remotes, trying a different remote, shutting the box down, soft resetting the box, etc)

I'm not very knowledgeable in this area so I'm hoping someone can fill me in with some previous experience with this modulator and if they upgraded.

    Thanks.

I had a similar experience with this ..... slowness of response.

What helped was to adjust the settings of the modulator output to reduce the bitrate, resolution etc.

Make changes and see how it affects the response.
Find a balance that suffices for your purposes.
