Absolutely nuts, but how they didn't have enough cops/security to deal with the crowd?

Or did they assume it would be a small crowd either way it's a monumental fvck up.

It will take them a while to return to the ceremony of confirming Biden's votes as they will have to clear the building by sweeping the whole thing.

How do you know some of them are not black. On an earlier RTE report today RTE's US correspondent was chatting with the protesters. One was a young black woman. You can see this i'm sure on the upcoming 9oc news.

Two departments there requested the national guard, hasn't been granted yet.

Yeah I've read that apparently one of the excuses for the request not being granted is that the optics of having uniformed soldiers in the capitol building won't be good but the optics are in the sh1tter right now with the photos of those protesters roaming around freely inside.
