    The Capitol is the centre of their democracy. Plenty of cops with guns there. You need to line up and go through metal detectors to get in. It's grand when you get in the door alright but even then there will be a cop in every room and a few standing to the side of the larger halls.



    If they can't guarantee safety to democratically elected representatives then it doesn't look the best. Even if it is only a "token" demonstration. The fact that anything is happening there is not a good look.

    They had no problem ringing the Capitol complex with Guardsmen for BLM Antifa.

    Any DoD official who stands in the way of a deployment now will go to jail.

    Edit: McInsaney statement that Trump has federalised the NG and sent them to the Capitol. Big whoop.

    These people are idiots. What exactly was the plan once they got inside?

    Most Trump supporters, while understandably frustrated at losing the election, would not support this kind of behaviour. The Republicans are supposed to be the law and order party. Doing this kind of thing is stooping to Antifa's level.

    At least CNN will finally be able to show something resembling violence by Trump supporters. It's the day they've been waiting for for 4 years.
