Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If its entertainment you want forget it you wont get it here.

Campaigner Vicky Phelan, HSE chief Paul Reid, and CNN journalist Donie O'Sullivan are among the guests on this week's Late Late Show.

Dr Colm Henry, the Chief Clinical Officer of the HSE and NPHET member, will join Ryan live in studio to oversee the inoculation of six of Ireland's healthcare workers against COVID-19 with the approved vaccine.

Wexford Hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald is back on our screens with Ireland's Fittest Family and preparing for upcoming show Davy's Toughest Team, and he joins Ryan to discuss how the past year has changed his perspective on hurling and family

Donie O'Sullivan (above), the CNN journalist from Kerry who was reporting live from Washington this week as chaos broke out across the US capital will also be chatting to Ryan.

There will be music from Lucia Evans who will give a very special performance alongside the Discovery Gospel Choir.

Holy Gawd...... more NPHET doom and gloom.

And still people pour across the Border unchecked while Tony tells us to stay home AGAIN.

Can we just have 1 night off ???

Misery, more misery, Davy and Donie.
It could be argued that Davy brings his own form of misery.

Great to see this Donie getting the recognition he deserves.

Me and the other Donies had to have an EGM after his stellar work the other day - we were so proud! - and not give anything away, but he's a shoe in for "Donie of the year" at the annual Donie awards 2021.

Ha, the word on the street is that Marky Mark Wahlberg's brother is fuming at being overlooked yet again.

He's a Donnie! What would he be doing in a meeting of Donies?

Donie's greatest achievement of 2021 (so far!) is getting his American colleagues to get our name right!

Id rather get covid than watch that.

Any chance of Ryan being vaccinated live on show as he reckoned he would be among the first to volunteer for the sake of the nation? I think, in all good taste, that idea has been abandoned.

    :D

When I heard the anchor on CNN saying Donie the other day, I did an involuntary "Did she just say Donie??" cutting across the conversation in the room.

Next thing you know Donie is trending on flippin Twitter!

What this guy has done for our people is just...sniff...

    Sorry, something in my eye

Tubs getting a boiling hot suppository form of the vaccine is what I want to see tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,042 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

You can try to sex it up, but watching someone getting a vaccine isn't top tv.

Would you have had someone on the LLS 5 yrs ago getting a flu vaccine and think it was ground breaking?

This might be more important, but it's still someone getting a jab. It ain't riveting stuff.

I gather the expulsion of Donie Trump from the Society caused him to lose the rag a bit.

That means masks need to be worn until every vulnerable person is vaccinated, circa this summer.

Does the right arm in RTE not talk to the left arm on RTE. Claire Byrne already done the Vaccine stuff and that's where it should be not on the fecking Entertainment Show that The Late Late Show is supposed to be.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
